Up in a Tree
A little Bird sat
Eyes twinkling darkly as he stared down at a Cat
The Cat's mouth was open
As if he was tasting the Air
But the bird only watched
Not giving a care
For the Tree was too tall for the Cat to climb
And even if so
He would not make it in time
For the Dog across the Street
Had finally broken free
And the little Bird watched
From way up in the Tree
