Like every Saturday, Pinkie Pie was having a party. And like every time, I was not invited. Well, I've got to say that it's pretty normal! Because... Nobody know who I am. It's not that I'm shy, or it's not that I'm busy all the time. It's just that I have a problem. A big problem. I always hide in the dark... Because... I'm afraid of light. Yeah, it's pretty weird, I know. I'm afraid of light because, when I was younger, my dad actually... Died because... Because of the light. Even weirder... Well, it was actually a ray of light that killed him, and that's why I'm scared of light.
I was silently crying in my ''house'' (a box made of carton in the dark), trying to make no sound. Then, a pony came out of nowhere and hide herself in the dark. I stop breathing, and stop moving. The other pony tried to hide herself in the box, then saw my red eyes. She start screaming, then run away. I restart breathing, but in silence. I couldn't believe it. After 2 years hiding in a box, a pony found me, and it have to be Pinkie Pie... She was steal screaming and running around. Then, another pony (a cop, I think) and asked her why was she screaming around like that. She said that she was playing hide-and-seek with her friends (everybody in Ponyville...) and then, she saw a monster (me...) watching her with her red eyes (woops, my bad.). She pointed at me (well, at the box), then the cop came in the dark. I get out of the box, and flew away. The cop start running after me, then something was blocking me ; a wall! I was having two choices. The first one was to give up, the second one was to go in the light. I decided to give up, and I simply fall on the ground. The cop tried to push me in the light, so he can see me, but I didn't wanted to go into my deepest fear. I closed my eyes, so I won't see the light. For some reason, the sun burned my skin. Two other cops came to help the other one, but when they saw that I was a just a pony, they stopped running at me. The first cop asked me to open my eyes, and I refuse. A lot of pony came to see what was going on. The first cop, confuse, asked why I didn't wanted to open my eyes. I said that I lived two years in the dark, without seeing the light, and that it would burn my eyes. He put me back in the dark, feeling sad for me. I opened my eyes, seeing the cop for the first time. I looked at him a little while, then he smiled at me. He took his helmet off, then introduce himself.
-Hi! I'm Cloudy Sky. What's your name?
-I'm Red Wings...
The other cops didn't know if they have to do something, or just stay there. Cloudy say to them to go. He said the same thing to the other pony that was looking at me like if I was an alien... I was scared of all those pony looking at me. When everybody was gone, it was starting to get cold. I was completely frozen, so Cloudy give me his coat. Of course, I was feeling better, but I was also very confuse. Why did he helped me, a Pegasus that look like a demon and that scares people? I didn't ask him, I just thanked him. When he was going to go back in the light to go reassured every pony, I tried to give him his coat back. He smiled at me, then say that it was a gift. I smiled, then he went away. I went back in my box, with my new blanket. I didn't sleep for, like, 3 days, so I start sleeping even if it was the middle of the day.
When I woke up, I realise something. I'm in love!
