She sighed as she looked over her lands…stroking each and every animal that she kept in her home. Knowing it was time to go, she looked to the skies.
"Someday, my children will populate these lands and make it so everything is at peace and beautiful." She promised herself, as if she needed to. Everything would work out, as it had in the past. There was no reason to worry about what the world would be like when she died.
Already, as he disappeared from the world until she was nothing more than a spirit, she looked down and saw her children establishing what they wanted to be like. The animals would care for them, but they could take care of themselves. Everything was in place for her children to prosper and live in peace together.
A few of her children; the ones who were old enough to know what was going on and watched as their benevolent mother disappeared before their eyes, her dress tattered from her separating, cried and reached up to her in the heavens. Smiling, she extended her hands and warmed them with her motherhood and kindness. They grinned at her and each other, knowing that they could do this. They were going to grow up and become strong like their mother had, even if they weren't all around each other at all times.
"Farewell, my children." She whispered to them, waving over the unoccupied lands to allow others to be born as freed people that could do the same as their elder siblings. "You'll be fine here, I promise you. Nothing will happen to you so long as you remember me in your hearts and aspire to be great."
With those final words of love, Pangea disappeared, her body and soul becoming one with the world to forever nourish her children and help nurture and comfort them whenever they needed.
