Chapter 1: Talents shown

Sitting alone on stage, Lincoln sighed. The talent show was a bust. Right when he stepped up, he was booed off stage. He wanted to cheer up before he went home so his sisters won't bug him like they always do. Thinking, he began to hum a tune that always cheered him up. Looking around, he saw he was alone, so he began to sing.

"Life as the odd one out

Can mess with your mind.

Time after time

It never ends."

With out him noticing, girl Jordan came in to get her act items when she heard Lincolns song. Looking at him, she decided to quietly take a seat to listen.

"But when you have family

You are never alone.

You will never be forgotten

To the sands of time."

More people began to walk in to find Jordan but heard the song and quickly took seats next to their friend.

"They'll lift you up,

When you fall down.

They'll be there by your side,

When your unwound."

More people began to pour in like water. They all noticed the boy on stage singing so they all got quiet and slowly sat down so they didn't break his focus.

"You will never be alone

They will always be by your side.

Never shall you worry

Any more."

One of the children pulled out an acoustic guitar and began to play along with him. Note after note, a person came in to listen to the melody. Lights turned on and pointed all over except the singer.

"Time after time

They'll be there for you.

You'll never need to worry.

They'll be there by your side."

More and more students continued to pour in to listen to the only Loud boy.

"Open your eyes and look around.

You are no longer alone.

In life you have it all.

Only to be number one.

Only to be only to be the only one.

So now turn around and walk away."

A boy with drums began to follow along as well, and soon did the whole band. Now with a band playing, Lincoln only thought that he was just hearing it in his head.

"Now keep on going on home.

Once you make it back

Don't you start to slack.

You have to much to be thankful for so how about help them back!"

Students began to slowly clap along with the song. Lincoln heard this but ignored it.

"Now carry your thoughts.

Be a bit more like your family.

Now its time to climb down the family tree.

Now keep on going until the end

Your

Days..."

Opening his eyes for the first time for about four minutes, he saw everyone back and cheering. Lincoln widened his eyes in extreme surprise. He began to then laugh with joy in his heart. Now, he had to go do something, something he always wanted to do...
