A/N- This starts in the 94th episode of Code Lyoko, when they are killing X.A.N.A.
Chapter 1: Failure
Aelita was running through sector five. They were finally going to destroy X.A.N.A once and for all. Her father could be free again, and they could be together again.
She turned the corner and came up to the elevator. All of a sudden, a laser hit her in the shoulder, knocking her down. She turned around to see a creeper standing right behind her. "Energy Field" she shouted, killing the creeper.
"Only ten life points left Aelita! You can't get hit one more time" Jeremie said.
Aelita nodded and ran to the elevator. She made it to the hallway that leads to the panel. She took off running, and was just about to activate the program, when a manta came out of nowhere and shot her in the chest. She fell backward and devirtualized.
Aelita found herself in the scanner room, and screamed. She couldn't believe that she just missed activating the program!
"No" Jeremie shouted, as he watched Aelita get devirtualized. "Aelita was just devirtualized" Jeremie said to Yumi, Ulrich, Odd, and William.
"What" they said together, all with shocked looks on their faces.
"What happens now" Ulrich asked.
"We have to go back in later and try to activate the program again. I have a bad feeling, that X.A.N.A isn't going to let us anywhere near sector five anymore" Jeremie replied.
The elevator opened and Aelita stepped out.
"I am sorry. I failed all of you" Aelita said, crying.
"It's not your fault. We weren't there to help you. We will have to try again, with us all being there to help" Yumi replied, hugging her.
Everyone just stood around and looked at each other.
"We have to stay here tonight and get back to Lyoko right away in the morning" Jeremie said. Everyone just nodded in agreement.
No one said anything the rest of the night. Everyone fell asleep one by one, with sad looks on their faces. Even Jeremie didn't even go to the computer, to monitor X.A.N.A, because he too was sad.
They hoped in the morning, they would succeed, in what they failed to do today.
A/N- Quick first chapter, just to introduce the story. Merry Christmas!
