Creegan went to get another pot of coffee started and left Branca and Taylor in the room alone. Branca kept looking at Taylor and when Taylor meet her gaze Branca quickly turned away.
"I was eight." said Taylor
"Oh you don't half to tell me, I don't want to know."
Of course you do. Plus if our situations were reversed I'd want to know." said Taylor Branca smiled knowing that Taylor was right, she did want to know.
"It was a Saturday morning; I had gotten up and turned on my TV in my room to watch cartoons. My dad came in and gave me a bowl of cereal and told me to stay in my room. That wasn't too weird; accept that when I tried to give him a kiss on the cheek he turned away. Then he got weirder, he locked my door from the inside and blocked it on the outside. Every once in a while I'd hear someone moving around and then I heard nothing. Most of the day went by before the police broke down my door. I remember the detective's name was Angela, she told me that I was OK now that no one would hurt me. I couldn't understand why she was saying that. Then I noticed that there were a lot of people in my parent's room. That's when I got away from Angela and saw why all of those people were in there for."
"Your mother." Said Branca
Taylor nodded. "I froze then some guy quickly picked me up and brought me back to Angela, who brought me to the station house where they asked me questions. I really don't think they expected me to ask more questions than they did." She laughed to herself "That was it, the next morning my uncle came from DC to pick me up. They told him to get me into counseling and then he made the decision to change my last name."
"So how did you get here, I mean, with David and Hank." Asked Branca
"Oh, you mean the brothers I never wanted."
"We weren't that bad were we? Just because we didn't let you go out on that one date..." Said Creegan as sat down with three mugs of coffee Taylor just smiled at him.
"My parents home schooled me and when I moved in with my uncle he had me tested to see how far I was in school. Turned out I was a high school senior at eight. So he contacted a few people and before I knew it I was in a private high school. Not long after that I'd graduated from college and was working a desk job at the FBI."
"How did you find out about your father?" Asked Branca
"I was taking a class at the academy, where my father is used as the example on the perfect serial killer...."
Swoops walked in and interrupted Taylor's story "There's been another one."
