My first Lincoln/Sara fic

My first Lincoln/Sara fic.

Disclaimer: I don't own Prison Break, just having lots of fun with the characters,

A/N: I am completely devoted to the Michael/Sara relationship, but I love seeing other pairings and especially writing other pairings, such as Lincoln/Sara, Michael/Lincoln, Bellick/Sara … and so on.

Anyway, as always, please read and review, I love getting feedback, even if it's to tell me how much I royally suck.

It had been an impulse. A stupid one, Lincoln knew, but an impulse nonetheless. Lincoln Burrows was on death row, to be executed in a handful of hours, and here he was, sitting in the dark of his cell, running his tongue along the jaw of Dr. Sara Tancredi.

He knew he should stop. He had seen the way she looked at Michael, the way Michael talked about her. He could tell they had a thing for each other, but Sara wasn't going to tell anyone, and a dying man should be entitled to a few last things. Such as, the touch of a woman.

Sighing, he captured her mouth once more, securing his hand in her hair, thumb and pinky finger tracing circles on her neck, almost smiling at the goose bumps he found there.

He felt Sara break away, and was sure that she was going to walk out. His thoughts were confirmed when she got up and moved to the door, but he was surprised to see her close the sad excuse for a window on the door, plunging the room into total darkness.

It didn't take Lincoln long to adjust to the dark, as he'd been living in it for far too long, but he could hear Sara having difficulty, so he stood from his bed, and gingerly took her hand in his. He could feel it twitch at the sudden contact, but then she squeezed his hand back, and they both found the bed once more.

It was a few seconds before one of them spoke, and it was Lincoln. "I understand if you don't want to do this. Or if you have to get back to work," he added, trying to give her an out, knowing he wouldn't be able to control himself if she didn't take it.

Sara met his eyes. "I set aside my whole day for you. As far as anyone in this place knows, I'm checking your vitals, providing medical insight, and just being a shoulder to cry on."

Lincoln smiled at that, and leaned his forehead against hers. "So, we're doing this."

Sara nodded, feeling the butterflies in her stomach.

"As much as I may regret this, what about Michael?" Lincoln inquired, trying to read her expression.

That caught her off guard. "Um, what about him?"

"Well, do you two have a thing going on?"

Sara smiled. "Not that I'm aware of. I mean, yes, there's a certain amount of flirting, but I'm used to that from just about every inmate, except you/"

Lincoln nodded, needing no further incentive. His hand came up to rest behind her neck once more, fingers running through her hair, and his mouth captured hers in a searing, passionate kiss.

Veronica had been the love of his life. He had screwed that up, but he had also made his peace with that. And he doubted that Veronica would be mad at him for this.

With his other hand, he pulled her closer into him, sliding his hand up the back of her shirt, her doctor's coat long ago discarded.

Her skin felt like fire to him, but it was welcoming, and he wanted nothing better than to sit here forever, memorizing, and worshipping ever inch of it.

He leaned her back onto the bed, and slowly rolled up her shirt, tracing light kisses along her belly, eliciting a few gasps, and even a couple "wows". When he rubbed his stubble against her skin, she went nuts, and had to remind herself to make no noise, so instead settled for this quiet, mewling sound.

Lincoln made a mental note to tell Michael he'd made a woman Meow.

Smiling to himself, Lincoln quickly shed his clothes, and the rest of hers, and spent the next two hours in perfect bliss.

The End … for now.
