A/N: Woo-hoo! I am so happy to see that the Eureka Seven category has been added here on Truly an amazing anime it is. For me, it was most definitely love at first sight XD And of course, me being the hopeless romantic I am, the RentonxEureka pairing captured my heart as well. This fic is really nothing big or special, just a short and sweet spoof I wrote off the top of my head. Anyways, I hope you all enjoy this and I'd really like to see more Eureka Seven fanfiction in the future!

-Renton's POV-

Love. Could it be that this is what I'm actually feeling for her…? Sometimes I'm not quite sure if I'm just being naive or if my feelings are real. After all, I've never actually been in love before. As I glance upwards, I see her atop the Nirvash, in her usual distant gaze. Her hands are placed on the metal as if she's talking to it through her mind. I always wonder what goes through her head when she does this sort of thing. Eureka always appears to be set apart from reality, apart from everyone else.

I'd like to know more about Eureka. What she thinks, what she feels, and details about her past. I want to be there for her. To comfort and give her strength. I think that she really needs to be cared for in such ways, and that's what I want to do. The moment I made eye contact with Eureka, I knew immediately that I wanted to stay with her.

"Renton, is there something wrong?"

I hear her voice and noticed she turned and caught me staring. "Oh, no nothing's wrong…" I can feel my cheeks heat up from my embarrassment.

"Aren't you going to go with the others today?"

Oh yeah, Holland and them were going reffing today. I had completely lost track of time from thinking about so many things. There's no way I could feel right going out there without Eureka though. Just being in her presence makes me happier than anyone else in the universe!

I smiled at the girl I love and said, "No, just staying here will make me happier than anything else could." And for that moment, I could have sworn I just felt myself grow two years older.

A/N: Well, there it is! I know it's not the best thing ever, but I put a lot of emotion into it... I'm pretty sure I'll be doing more Eureka fics in the future (RentonxEureka of course!) and I hope this inspires others to write some also. I'll try to make the next ones a little longer... So with that said, reviews/comments welcomed:D
