river persons babble is getting weirder and weirder every day what does it mean who is the man who speaks in hands? i need to think about this

I was going to vist undyne and nabstablook so I went down to the river for a ride from river person and usually she talked babble about my success in the underground but today was different she said "beware the man who speaks in hands" normally I ignore the things that I didn't understand but when river person said to beware something it meant beware but I was confused when I tried to ask what it meant she went back her mindless babble so I was silent the rest of the ride a couple weeks later I was heading to snowdin but with determination I went back to river person and she said " fire eats a large log slowly but your log is almost burned through"
