A/N: Hey guys! Here is the first story of the short stories! If you don't like the story being short then sorry.
Everest was a husky pup who loved Christmas. Every year, she looked forward to all the fun she would have. She loved the wonderful food like the turkey and the cookies. She also loved waking up early to open presents and to be with her family. This year, she was very impatient for Christmas to come.
"I wish it was Christmas already! Come on!" complained Everest.
"Everest, honey, Christmas isn't going to come any sooner if you rush it." said her mother.
"I know but I want it to come now!" said Everest.
She spent the whole month of December wanting it to be Christmas. When Christmas finally came, Everest was very happy. She woke up early and after she woke up the parents, she rushed into the living room and tore open her presents. She got so many wonderful presents! Her relatives came and she had so much fun with her family. She had a big dinner and she was very stuffed. When I say stuffed, she was even more stuffed than on Thanksgiving. She was very sad to see Christmas go. Then, she remembered the wishing star her parents told her about. She decided to make a wish.
"I wish it was Christmas everyday!" wished Everest.
She then went to bed in hopes it would work. She slept very late into the next morning and she awoke to her parents waking her up.
"Why are you guys waking me up?" asked Everest.
"It's Christmas! Don't you want to open your presents?" asked her parents.
"Christmas? Wasn't that yesterday?" asked Everest.
"Honey, today is Christmas!" said her father.
Everest then remembered her wish. It had come true!
"Yay! It's Christmas!" said Everest.
She tore open her presents again. The family came again and Everest had fun with them. They had a big dinner again. Everest noticed they did the same thing as the day before but she didn't care. She went to bed excited about the next day.
The following day, the same thing happened. Same thing with the day after. The rest of the week was like that too! Everest enjoyed this holiday everyday for a bit but by the week's end, she was sick of it.
"Ugh! It's Christmas again!" said Everest.
"Time for presents!" said her parents.
Everest went through the day agin and the day went by so slow for her. She realized it would be better of it was once a year. At bed that night, she wished on the star again.
"I wish Christmas was once a year again!" said Everest.
She quickly went to bed. The next day however, nothing had changed.
"Time for presents!" said her parents.
"Noooooooooooooo!" screamed Everest dramatically.
Everest suddenly sat up in her bed with a gasp. She looked over at the calender. It said it was December 26th! It had been a dream! She hurried to play with her new toys and from then on enjoyed Christmas once a year.
