*I have had this idea for a while now and I've decided to put this into a one-shot, hope you enjoy! No flames pweeze.
I do not own Hetalia!
I HEARED SOMETHING!
It didn't appear, but I'm pretty sure it knows that I'm here . . . .no, PLEASE NO!
I run. My heart pounding furiously, as I sprinted down the hallway in almost-complete darkness.
What was that thing?! What was that xenomorphic creature?! My mind raced as I began to turn the corner not wanting to look back. I probably should've.
Something grasped me . . . it grasped my neck . . . it's choking me!
NO, I CAN"T BREATH!
It's scaly, rough skin was tearing through my neck, or maybe that was just me, I don't know.
I immediately reach for my katana that was dangling from my belt, I slashed it. The attack took the monster by surprise, it released me. I fell to the floor with only a second to realize that the monster was reaching for me again. I grip my only weapon tightly and puncture its hand . . . I push farther and it punctures its chest. The monster's growls turn into aching-screams.
That was my cue to run.
I seemed to have into a library. The monster was no longer in sight, I decide to calm down and rest. I wished it would've lasted longer . . . but no . . . I hear it.
I gasp, it came from the entrance.
No . . . no . . . no, no, no, no, no, no, no, PLEASE NO!
I run deeper in to the library, looking for a place to hide, there was nothing but shelves and shelves of books. I hear loud footsteps and heavy breathing.
At the last minute, I hide behind the last bookshelf, shrouded in darkness.
Its steps sounded closer . . .
. . . closer . . . closer . . . closer . . . closer . . . no! Please no!
I was shaking violently, my whole body shook violently. My heart so hard I thought my chest was going to burst. My breathing . . . I couldn't control my breathing. I wrap my arms around my torso, in attempt to cease the shaking.
My throat tightened. Never have I been so frightened before . . . tears were threatening to spill.
"Ch-China . . . China, my brother . . . help me," I pitifully whimpered, "I'm frightened."
. . . I suddenly hear a growl in response.
I slap a hand over my mouth. Oh no! Was I too loud?!
I hear heavy steps behind me, heavy, hoarse breathing. I couldn't hold myself, I couldn't stop shaking, my throat grew tighter, I feel a tear streaming down my face.
It's going to kill me!
China, Russia, Germany, France, America, England . . . Italy, where are you?
I turn my head, I gasp. Another door!
I wanted to move, I wanted to run, I wanted to scream! But I can't, I was tired, I couldn't fight that thing alone. I set my eyes on the door again, and I swallow the lump in my throat.
No . . . I can do it, pull yourself together Japan! I run for the door, past the monster leaving it in confusion. With such speed, I unlock the door, run through, and swing it closed, locking it.
I press my back against the wood, holding my chest, feeling my heart . . . I cry silently with relief.
Strangely, I heard no other sound, nor a growl, I guess it gave up for now. I could finally control myself again. I stood within the eerie silence.
"I must find the others, quick."
Not looking back, I began to sprint down the shadowed corridors of the haunted mansion, unaware of the darkest adventure I was about begin. . . .
