The desperation for a warm touch, the need to feel hot skin against his own breath against his lips; someone's affection wasted on a black hearted cold creature like himself.
Inuyasha sat in the top of a tree, red eyes peering down at his pray, and innocent clueless Kagome walking toward the well in the clearing.
She was sobbing and talking to herself through chocked tears asking herself questions that only the gods could know the answers to. "How could he do this" she cried whipping the tears from her face on her sleeves. "Choose full demon over me." She thought back to earlier that day imagining it like a movie. "Heh the only way to defeat Naraku is to play on his level, I need more power I need to think more like him" Inuyasha ranted on ignoring the pleading and advice from his carrying friends. He grabbed his sword and destroyed it. So his demon could no longer be controlled. He was free to be heartless and to kill Naraku but risked losing himself. He thought he was doing them a favor and in some way, he was.
However the price he would pay would be worse than he could ever imagined he risked his friend's lives to try and save them from Naraku he was playing carelessly with a double edged sword.
Inuyasha glared down snarling at her his fangs dripping of blood from some unknown demons he slaughtered when he transformed.
He couldn't control it not like he thought he'd be able to, he thought that with the necklace she would be safe. So would the others if they stuck by her.
They were wrong Miroku was injured because of it and the necklace shattered. She yelled sit to the top of her lungs just to make him fall but his will was to strong he was able to grab the necklace and rip it from his neck. The group stood in confusion before trying to fight their way to safety. Miroku tried to hold him off so Sango could get Kagome and the others far enough away but failed.
Inuyasha clawed violently at him like a wild rabid animal and left him covered in blood barley able to move. Sango had to ride Kilala down to him and pull him on to get him away leaving Inuyasha in a snarling rage.
