Kurt/Bobby

Bobby let out a long breath as the DVD finished playing. Ever since Kurt had come back from the circus, Bobby couldn't stop watching. While Kitty had been upset that Kurt had never told them about his time in the circus, Bobby couldn't get enough. Of course not everyone was as impressed as Bobby, but that came naturally with being Kurt's boyfriend. Carefully, he shifted to grab the remote and turn off the TV, doing his best not to disturb Kurt. The blue-furred mutant was leaning against Bobby, sleeping, and Bobby had wrapped an arm around Kurt's shoulders. It was one of their rare quiet nights and both Kurt and Bobby had felt like relaxing.

Bobby was brought out of his thoughts when he heard Kurt's sleepy voice, "Is it over yet?"

He chuckled, used to Kurt's lack of interest in the DVD he starred in, "Yeah, its over. You want to watch anything?"

Kurt shook his head against Bobby's shoulder, "Nein, we never get enough moments like these. I just want to relax and enjoy it."

Bobby nodded and rested his head against Kurt's, "You're right, it's nice to have a quiet moment for once. I'm glad we only had the one training session this morning and none tonight. I still can't believe you beat Wolverine."

Kurt smiled and kept his eyes closed, his tone was amused and indulgent, "You were there, Bobby, you saw me win. It's not like it was easy, either, I'm still sore from how he was whaling on me."

Bobby could hear how tired Kurt was and decided that he was getting tired, too. So he laid back on the couch, pulling his boyfriend down to lay on top of him. He smiled as he felt Kurt's tail wrap itself around one of his legs. It was such a relief that no one at the Institute had a problem with him and Kurt being together. He loved Kurt so much that he didn't care who knew as long as they were together, but he knew Kurt wouldn't take it well if anyone in their Institute family didn't approve. Kurt's head was resting on his chest and Bobby kept his arms around Kurt, wanting to keep the blue furry mutant as close as possible for as long as possible.

Later that night as Professor Xavier was making his way to his room he saw Kurt and Bobby asleep on the couch together. Normally he would wake his students up and send them off to their rooms, but he decided to let the two continue sleeping. The troubles mutants had to deal with were many and normal humans often forgot that the majority of the mutants at his institute were teenagers, not yet adults, and they had been called upon to fight to save the world. Xavier knew he did not have to be a telepath to recognize this untroubled, tender moment that the two boys were enjoying. With a smile on his face, Xavier continued on his way and left Kurt and Bobby undisturbed.
