Meeting the Viking

I do not own True Blood or the Southern Vampire Mysteries. Completely disregard the fact that if you're turned when you're a virgin, you stay a virgin forever.

I was in Shreveport, because I had heard about a vampire bar named Fangtasia. Plus, I had never been to Shreveport. I walked to Fangtasia.

"Hi there", a woman at the door said, "ID please".

I handed her my ID.

"Bijou", she said, "French?"

I only nodded.

"Pam", she said, "Be sure to meet Eric. He'd love to meet a little French flower such as yourself".

I entered the bar and saw a blonde sitting on a stage in a beautiful red chair. I assumed he was Eric. He looked at me up and down, and then turned to talk to a dark haired man.

The dark haired man approached me and said, "Eric would like to talk to you".

"Lead the way Mr. Soldier guy", I said.

"How did you know?" he asked.

"My special power is I can see people's pasts", I said.

He led me to the stage where Eric was sitting. "Hello", Eric said, "I assume you're the French flower Pam was talking about".

I looked to the bar and saw Pam talking to a large Chinese man.

She looked at me and gave me a small smile.

I turned back to Eric and said, "Yes".

"Bijou is a pretty name", Eric said.

"I have a friend named Eric, except he's no where as gorgeous as you. He's also gay", I told him.

The dark haired man looked tense and nervous.

I turned to him. "Hi, I'm Bijou de Lioncourt and you need to chill the hell out", I said.

"Bill", the dark haired man said.

"Lioncourt?" Eric asked.

"Don't even ask me if I'm related to Lestat from that mortal's book. It pisses me off", I said.

"I like you", Eric said, "I don't like many people".

"Why? Because they piss you off too?" I asked him.

"Precisely", Eric said, "Stay here with me".

"No can do", I said.

"Why not?" Eric asked.

"I'm a respectable girl Mr. Viking guy", I said.

Eric looked at me confused.

"She sees people's pasts. Even ours", Bill said.

"Thank you for clearing that up", I said.

"Amazing. Even your pathetic human can't do that", Eric said.

"Human?" I asked, "You could do so much better".

"Will you stay here if I propose a deal?" Eric asked.

"Maybe, depends on what it is", I said.

"You get to have me whenever or wherever you want", Eric said.

"Marry me", I said.

The entire bar went silent.

"If you want me so bad, marry me", I said, "I'm a respectable girl".

"You've never done it?" Eric asked.

"I was raised that way. Even after I became a vampire, I held on to that. I was waiting for the right one", I told him, "Marry me".

Eric turned to Bill.

"It's not illegal for a vampire to marry another vampire", he said.

"Very well", Eric said, "Bijou, will you marry me?"

Eric asked.

"Yes, I will Eric", I said.

"This is going to be a disaster", I heard Bill say.

"This is going to be one hell of a ride", I heard Pam say.

"This is going to be fun", Eric said. "Oh yes it is and I can't wait".
