Enemy, Familiar friend...
Thoughts had often passed through his mind as only forms of ideas. But many (Way to many to count.) were discarded into a mental recycle bin. He had often pondered if any would be stored away and collected as an action or saying. That didn't happen. It almost never did. Only until he truly focused and payed full attention to what he was thinking would he come to realization with it. In a way come to terms with it. Many times when a thought dug into his soul and heart deep enough he would try to solve it's wicked puzzle. Now this would take days at a time. Almost killing him in the process. He would usually pain himself and stretch far beyond his own means to complete this wretched task. Many of the times he would sit in a trance consumed by the problem he faced. Only one person ever dared break this trance. He both loved and hated this person. The tall, pale man would not stop until he irked the other to a core. Almost like an apple. A rotten core. Today was another one of those trance-like states that ever so bothered him. The problem: His Kira side. And oddly enough Kira was losing. Light stood up. Not turning his head not gazing at the ebony lying asleep on the king sized bed. 'I never thought he'd fall asleep.' Light thought as he stalked into the hall. The carpet was a dark blue. The walls were a crimson red, Light shuddered at this shade. He blinked hard before moving on.
'Hehehehe... What's wrong Light-o?' Kira laughed quietly. Taunting Light as he hung his head. The voice in his head had still persisted. " I hope this works...You will pay you basterd." Light said in a hoarse whisper. 'You think I'll pay! Ha! Don't make me laugh!' Kira malked. Walking one numb step at a time. Feet bare, Pants black and loose. He pushed a large wooden door open. The door closed not making a sound. It only left a crack. The rooms were sound proof and barely let any noise seep through the walls. Smashing his fist against the wall Light let out a bloodcurling scream. Letting anyone who could hear he was in pain. A sharp metal-like pain peircing through his chest. He pounded his hand once again at the drywall. Kira laughed deeply once again. The sound echoed through Light's head. Once again a shiver waved and crashed against his spine.
His hand now bloody and bruised he let it fall to his side. Another scream. Light padded over to a rose wood desk. He fumbled with a lock. The cold metal burned on his numb hand. He finally succeded in opening the drawer. He pulled out a thin black note book. He reached the perfectly fine hand in and felt for a lighter. Inside Light's head Kira silently panicked.
L's deep grays eyes opened. He felt his hand behind his back. His hand slid smoothley against the red silk. He frowned. 'Where is he?' L slid out of the covers and glanced at the alarm clock. 1:29 a.m. He yawned and slouched over. That is until he heard a scream. Shivering he walked to where the sound was. He slightly pushed on the huge door. Peering into the room he saw blood trailing to a small leather couch. He stayed quiet. Pushing his thumb up to his lip and biting soft enough to break the skin.
Smoke arose from the black note book. 'YOU FOOL! WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS?' Kira screamed. Light only grined as ash fell to the ground. Deep cuts formed on his back. Blood dripped onto the leather. Light grinded his teeth in pain. The Last of the ash fell to the ground. Then every thing was silent. Light smiled blood covering his teeth. He turned his head towards the door. " You can trust me now..." Light whispered beforing passing out cold.
