The Godly Prologue
Cruelty cannot rise from nothing
I am not sure as to why, but such ancient
Things are simply not of my doing
This war was started by cruelty made sentient,
Born of the oppression of one, and the envy of the other,
Rage became amplified by every battle, climaxing
Into a torrential maelstrom of killing.
The path was forged by leaders two,
One of many, the other of few,
Opposing forces led by brothers,
One a tyrant, the other's rule true,
But I pass no judgment on either side
For all have scars and sins to hide.
