As he opened his eyes, the dark knight tried to move his hands. He suddenly felt a sharp, stabbing pain in his wrists and couldn't move them. Then the same thing happened with his legs. When he carefully looked down, he noticed a thorny vine wrapped around his ankles and legs.
Crap... Batman thought. How the HECK am I gonna get out of this one?
Suddenly, he saw a figure in the distance, and he could tell it was a guy. Confused, he squinted to see who it was, and he was surprised to see the figure walking towards him had a cloth hat and straw sticking out of it.
"Jonathon Crane? Your the LAST person I would have associated with vines." Batman said as he came closer, but all the Scarecrow did was smirk mischievously.
"I had a little help." he said. Suddenly, the vines wrapped around his wrists tightened and lifted him into the air. He then felt hands on his back, and they moved along his side to his front, along with the woman they belonged to: the one and only Poison Ivy.
"Only because you have what I need." she said with a certain amount of venom. She held her hand out to him after removing it from Batman's body. "Give me the Physalis Alkekengi."
Scarecrow reached into his pocket and pulled out a bag of seeds. Ivy jumped at them, but he held them above his head and out of her reach. She looked at him, and Batman could tell she was TICKED. "Not until I see if the gas works or not. I won't risk the chance of you letting him go early," Scarecrow said, but Ivy had other plans.
"Why would I let him go?" she yelled. Batman looked at them amused, but decided to use this time to escape. He pulled a small knife out of his glove and started to saw at the vines. The Scarecrow kept yelling at Ivy that he wasn't giving her the seeds, but she kept demanding them anyways. Eventually, Scarecrow walked away going to get the gas, and Ivy was right on his tail not wanting to let the seeds out of her sight, but when they returned, all that was left was the cut up vines that once held the dark knight.
