Disclaimer: Because the world has something against me, I do not own Twilight. I did not create the term OCD either (either one). :( To bad for me...
Hello my children. I am here to talk to you about something very serious today, obsessions. Manly Twilight obsessions. You see my children, many people suffer from the so-called "OCD" (Obsessive Cullen Disorder) and it is becoming a serious problem.
Now, while some people are told that OCD is a bad thing, that is not true. I have admitted on several occasions that I have OCD and so have many of my friends. You see my children, while it is true that OCD causes people to think differently than usual, that is not bad. It is also true that people get distracted by small things like a Silver Volvo racing by, or someone saying the name "Edward"… Wait, what was I saying? Oh, yes… That is true. But OCD does have its good points too.
Many people that have OCD have decided to read books with excitement such as, "Romeo and Juliet", "Wuthering Heights" etc. because they were mentioned in Twilight. And it also makes people excited to listen to music such as "Claire De Lune" once again, because they were mentioned in Twilight.
That is not all that is good about OCD. It makes people think nothing of reading a 200 or 300-page book. And so they will be more willing to read longer books. Isn't it alwase a good thing when someone wants to read?
OCD also has many effects on people's lives other than music and books. Take for instance my children, how life-absorbing OCD is. People with OCD do not usually get bored because they can just think about Twilight.
You see my children, OCD is a GOOD thing! Don't ever let anybody tell you anything else.
