Broken: Tomoe
Eyes are said to be the window to the soul
In hers there was only sadness
Love long lost from those depths
Shrouding her in an endless darkness
Lips that spilled fountains of honeyed words
Now tell nought but lies
Those words that dripped from deep inside
Held feelings beyond our skies
Ears that heard the vicious speak
And words only she could hear
From those that cared nothing for her
And from the one that she held dear
Hands that used to be warm and gentle
Now hold cold and violence
They describe what she felt then
Waves of anger and turbulence
Blood spilled endlessly from her open wound
Self inflicted for hope to be free
From all the troubles and fear she felt
To a place where her loved one would be
