A/N - I love the relationship between the Second Tsuchikage and the Second Mizukage - who I have seen fit to name Aikido. I've always seen them as, over the course of their lives, going from deadly enemies to kind of hanging out together and swapping techniques, and right back to deadly enemies again at the drop of a hat. But never being indifferent to each other.
It's also my headcanon that they were the respective students of the First Tsuchikage and First Mizukage - which is why they're meeting for the first time here, probably in their early teens, while the grown-ups hang out and talk politics.
Disclaimer - I don't own 'em, I just love them.
Prompt Six - Dust
"Be wary of me," Mu said shortly.
Aikido smiled cheerfully at him. "Why is that?" A moment later he was blinking down at empty space where the squirrel that had been darting past their feet had been. "You could have just thrown a kunai at it," he said. "Kind of unnecessary."
Mu crossed his arms. "That's not the point!"
Aikido scratched his head. "Then what is? If a dangerous squirrel invasion hits, we'll know who to call on?"
"I can make them big enough for people," Mu said, and raised his hands.
The Shodaime Kages separated them hastily after that.
Just pretend I wandered past your computer mumbling vaguely about reviews, and you'll get the idea.
