I do not own AOT. And I have a character I created In this, her name is Mollie. I hope you enjoy the prologue!

That day...so many years ago...I witnessed something I wish I never had too...something other people have witnessed everywhere...the death of my family.

I was about 13 or 14. We lived in a cottage, north of Wall Maria, closer to Wall Rose. I was a bit cowardly and scared of everything. It was nice, and quiet for awhile...then we heard them...their enormous feet hitting the soft grass, thundering the air. My parents, and my new baby brother, we all tried to escape them, shocked they for through the wall. My brother and mom where the first who died... My dad and I continued running, knowing that well both die sooner or later, considering how fast they are. I looked around, something to hide in, anything. There's was nothing...but horses and people running toward us. The titan then finally took my father, and I tripped. A different titan picked me up. I tried to struggle, and get free...a person came flying past me, cutting the nape of the neck. The titan released me, and I was free falling... Suddenly, the same man caught me, and placed me on the ground. He grabbed my wrist and ran to his horse. He spoke to me, quietly.

"hold on."

He had me wrap my arms around his waist, and he ran off on the horse. He was part of the Survey Corps. I recognized the Wings of Freedom anywhere. His comrades ran beside him. They called him Levi, so I assumed that was his name. The commander of the group was Corporal Erwin. And from what I can tell, Levi hated his guts. The one girl comrade was named Isabel. The other was named Farlan. When they got to their camp, Levi helped me down.

"...what's your name?"

I was a bit terrified, but nervously answered, "m-Mollie..."

Levi nods, and walks away. Erwin tells me that he'll take me inside Wall Rose, where I'll be safer. I sit away from them, scared of them, and still in shock of watching my parents be eaten by the beasts. We slowly make our way back to Wall Rose. When we arrived, Erwin left me on the side of the road, knowing he can't take me back.. I decided to join the trainee corps, wanting to kill titans too. I was surprised when I actually got through it and got through the challenges. I wanted to join the survey corps. During that time, I dyed my hair red instead of brown. I joined the corps, but I avoided contact with titans at all costs. I helped a lot on the medical deck.
