While Mrs Weasley nagged Fred and George about apparating into the dining room, and Sirius and Harry chatted aimlessly, Remus Lupin was watching her. The girl with the bubblegum-pink hair, heart-shaped face and twinkling eyes. He had been watching her ever since she first entered 12 Grimmauld Place, tripping over the umbrella stand as she did so. He couldn't figure her out, but she had a quality that made him unable to tear his eyes away from her. He gazed intently at her as she transformed her nose into a pigs, and then a ducks beak, finally ending with a pale-pink mouse nose, complete with whiskers, all to entertain Ginny.
'She would make a wonderful mother...' The thought crossed his mind before he could restrain it. The thought was wrong, and it could never be allowed.
Her eyes caught his as he formed another thought. Being with her was forbidden, which made him want her even more.
