Just a little one-shot I wanted to share, it is also my current headcanon, hope you all like.
Behind the Words
"…but we only get one life and I want to make the best of it."
"Why do I always get the feeling there's something behind what you're telling me?" she asked him already knowing the answer, because she too was doing the same thing….
"Well, why don't you join me and find out."
-I want this one life to be with you.
"The last time a guy asked me to runaway with him, it didn't end that well. Besides I need to get home, put down some roots"
-I care for you so much, far more then anyone ever before, but the wound Simon's death left has yet to heal. That wound causes me to fear being with you right now, because to lose you would surely cause my own death as well. Being home around friends will help heal that wound and drive that fear away. You deserve a whole woman, not the broken and confused woman standing in front of you right now.
"For now... Timing is everything, Neshama, but one day, you and I will be sitting somewhere, looking at a sunset, thinking of nothing at all. Maybe not this boat in Greece, but….but one day… then that will be a lovely evening."
- I will wait for you for however long it takes. But when our time comes no words will be said because these feelings can't be described in words and "love" does not do it justice, we will know what each other feels because you are neshama, my soul, my other half. I will never be complete with out you.
"I hope so…..Goodbye, Eyal."
-Time is all I need to become whole again and then with out fear I will be with you, but until then stay safe and happy.
"I am not good with goodbyes…and I never get to say it. Thank you, Annie."
-This is not goodbye, it's until we meet again, and thank you, you have saved me in more ways then ever can be said.
