Oliver flicked the switch on one of his inventions, it gave off the illusion there was a lit fireplace. He gently pulled his feet out of his shoes, using yet another invention to make a foot rester appear in front of him. He placed his feet upon it, he pulled the small notepad out of his pocket. He smiled at the writing that was on the page he was reading. The sight was somewhat peaceful - it looked like he had made himself at home which was something he hadn't done in a long time. Never around Jack that was for sure. He could feel his eyelids slowly closing. He was definitely tired. The day had been long and somewhat tiring. Although Oliver had only joined Torchwood and he hadn't shown how he was feeling about it, he was enjoying himself. Not something he would say yet. Before he knew it, Oliver's head had dropped, his eyelids were fully closed and his notepad moved up and down on his moving chest. He was sleeping, rather soundlessly too.

Jack hadn't yet realized that Oliver had fallen asleep, that wasn't until he came down from the steps of his office, his gaze had fallen upon Oliver rather quickly. He had expected him to fall asleep he had looked rather tired. He moved forwards as quietly as he could, he stopped beside Oliver, he gently took hold of his feet, turning them onto the couch along with his legs. Jack delved into his pocket taking out the device in which Oliver had given him earlier, pressing a button quite gently with his thumb, a blanket appeared quite suddenly Jack caught it easily within his free hand. He placed the device back into his pocket before using both of his hands to place the blanket over Oliver, it covered everything below the neck. Jack half smiled before he moved off to continue with his dull paperwork.
