Summary: Katniss has chosen Gale even after he killed Prim. Will she go back to Peeta or stay with Gale?
Katniss P.O.V.:
We had just gotten back from the Capitol. I was lying next to Peeta and out of no where I leaned over and kissed him. He pushed me off him and I was confused. "What's wrong Kat?" "Nothing Peeta. What makes you think something is wrong?" "You never act like this unless something is wrong." "I can't just kiss my boyfriend? You always assume something is wrong." I pause. "Katniss, is there something you aren't telling me?" "I've chosen." He looked confused. "And?" "I chose Gale." "Even after what he did to prim?" I nod. He pushes me off him gets up in walks away. "Whatever. Don't scream for me when he tries to kill you too." I lay there thinking to myself. 'What the hell did I just do? I don't love Gale. I'm so pissed at him. How could I love him? I love Peeta.' I get up and follow him. "Peeta?" "Get the fuck away from me Katniss" "Peeta. I have no idea why I said that. I don't love him. I love you." "Sure you do Katniss."He mumbles under his breath. "I do. How can I prove it to you?" "Kill Gale." He says and walks into his house. 'Kill Gale? My ex-best friend? I can't. But I love Peeta. Do I Peeta enough to kill him? I don't want to kill him even though I hate him. But I don't want to lose Peeta. That night I had nightmares about it and even though I probably woke up all of Panem Peeta never came.
