it all started the day cloud walked in on zack walking stark naked around aerith's living room.
by that time in the afternoon, cloud thought he'd seen everything. at work, tifa tried her hardest to get cloud in a secluded room while rufus shinra was off in another one of those "turk conference meetings".
at lunch, yuffie announced that she was a lesbian... and that she had eyes for cissnei.
two hours before quitting time cloud swore he saw vincent and shera highwind doing unspeakable things to cid in the copy room.
he tried to shake it off... but now... after all that, cloud gave up.
"chocobo... what are you doing here?" zack asked. he didnt look guilty, nor did he seem like he cared about being naked in front of cloud at all.
he'd probably forgotten that he was naked. which wasnt surprising.
"i... uh... live here." cloud said.
"you look a little sick."
"...hnng, you can say that."
zack tilted his head to the side, looked down, and then cleared his throat. he grabbed the nearest blanket he could reach, and wrapped it around his hips.
cloud bit the inside of his lip (out of them all, zack picked clouds favourite one, of course)
"hey, did you know yuffie was a lesbian?"
"i knew." cloud mumbled
"you're wondering why i'm naked?"
"might solve one problem. but i suppose even if i didnt want to know that you'd tell me either way."
zack laughed, and almost let go of the blanket. "water's out at angeal's. aerith let me in before she went to meet tifa for dinner. i took a shower. completely innocent."
"i didnt exactly suspect you and aerith had-"
"you did, though." he winked at cloud, and turned around to walk upstairs.
cloud turned his head slightly to the side. it was true. and above all things, cloud was jealous thinking about it. he didnt know why.
not really.
"anyways. tell me about your day?" zack disappeared into the bathroom, leaving the door open.
cloud rolled his eyes. "lets just say that my days at work are less than normal lately."
he heard more of zacks laughter.
"i seriously think i need to take the day off tomorrow... if i have to go another day being harassed by tifa or seeing things i really... really do not want to see-"
zack came out of the bathroom and jogged down the stairs, "tifa harasses you because you let it happen."
cloud shook his head and blinked, "how do i-"
"and what could possibly be so bad that youre seeing at work?"
"hate it when you interrupt me."
zack winked one more time and slung his arm over clouds shoulder, "wanna hear about my day?"
cloud sighed, "sure. why not."
cloud sat down when zack did, and relaxed the most he could.
