The life of Sonic

It has been a long time since I have done a story like this. I hope everybody who reads this loves it as much as I do. As always constructive criticism is appreciated and if you like this kind of work then just let me know. This story is as the title says, the life of our beloved hero. Also have a frostilicious day!

I remember my first time I ran, it felt like the world was passing me by.

Every moment, every sound, just gone.

That is when I learned the true definition of power.

I remember the first time I met a yellow fox and a red echidna, both having the look of worry.

They always did however feel like I truly was the one that brought them all together.

I saw them as the only family I had in this world, so we stayed together.

And as there is always the good in life, there is the wicked.

I meant the monstrosity known as Eggman.

We battled for days and days on end, like a writer does with the urge to quit.

Our final bout just marked the new moment in my life, as it was the end of something good and the start of something horrific.

The knighting ceremony now is in place, I am just swallowed in the moment.

I hear the crowd cheer as they hear my new name, King Sonic of Mobius.

I never knew that it would take away the one thing I loved to do, save the day.

My kingship truly made me a shallow hedgehog, one without dreams.

I also did lose my family, as they moved on and had families of their own.

I felt like it was just to much to bear on my blue shoulders.

Even an Anxious and loving wife such as Sally could stop me.

I ran.

I ran with my eyes open and my heart closed.

I smiled as I noticed that I was running off the cliff.

"May my death be the one thing that saves me from this life!" Exclaimed Sonic
