Unova League Chronicles

Prologue: After Ash won against Ranee in the finals of the Sinnoh League, Ash got Misty back and Ranee got Paul back. After saying a painful goodbye, Ash and Misty headed for Pokémon Isle, where the Elite Four and the champion had battles with challengers. Ash defeated all of the Elite Four and headed up against Cynthia…..

Ash Ketchum was on his way to Unova, with his fiancé on his arm. Misty was staring at a sapphire ring on her right hand. It was only three weeks ago that Ash had proposed to Misty. It was after his lost to Cynthia…..

-Flashback-

(Garchomp had just used Brick Break on Pikachu and Pikachu had just used Iron Tail on Garchomp. Pikachu looks very hurt and tired. Garchomp also looked hurt and tired. Pikachu went down.)

Referee: Pikachu is unable to battle! Garchomp wins! The victor of this match is Cynthia!

Announcer: And there you have it! Cynthia keeps her title!

(Five years later….)

Brock's voice: (He is on the videophone.) Ash did pretty well against Cynthia for his first challenge.

Misty: Yeah, it was a good match. Losing 6-5 is a pretty impressive battle.

Brock's voice: Well, I'm just glad that he didn't take it too hard like he did when he lost to Ritchie.

Ash: (He comes downstairs, with Pikachu on his shoulder.) Hey, Brock! How's the life of being a doctor treating you?

Brock's voice: It's been treating me great. How is your mom?

Ash: She actually got a school reunion invite so she left me and Misty here.

Brock's voice: Alone? That doesn't sound like your mom.

Misty: Who said we were alone?

(Mr. Mime is sweeping up in the background.)

Brock's voice: (He sweats drops.) Ah, I see.

Ash: I hope you don't mind, Brock but Misty and I have lunch plans.

Pikachu: Pika, pika.

Misty: We do? (Ash pulls her away from the phone while Pikachu hangs up on Brock. Ash takes her to a lake.) Ashton Patrick Ketchum, where on earth are you taking me?

Ash: Just relax and look.

(Misty perks up and sees the sight. A beautiful lake, a waterfall, trees, flowers, and Pokémon all over the place.)

Misty: (She's speechless.) Oh, Ash. It's beautiful.

Ash: And things have just begun, Misty. Pikachu, if you please.

Pikachu: Pika! (It runs off and brings over a basket.) Pika pi!

Ash: Thanks, Pikachu!

Misty: You planned this, didn't you?

Ash: In more ways than one. Sit down.

(Misty sits down and they eat their lunch. A few hours later, they are swimming in the lake.)

Misty: Why does this place seem so familiar to me?

Ash: (He smirks.) You mean you haven't figured it out yet? (Misty shakes her head.) Well then, allow me to refresh your memory. This is where you met a certain dumb headed rookie trainer and saved his life, this is where you're life changed forever, and…. (He gets out a red velvet box and in the box is a sapphire ring. [Misty loves sapphires more than diamonds, in case anyone is wondering.]) This is where you say 'yes'.

Misty: (She has tears in her eyes.) Oh, Ash. Yes.

(Ash puts the ring on her ring finger and they kiss.)

-End of Flashback-

Misty couldn't believe that was only three weeks ago. Now, she and Ash were headed for Unova to visit the Unova region, meet new Pokémon, challenge new gyms, and meet all new friends. And unknown to them, old friends as well…..

Ages and attire:

Ash- 22, wearing his Unova outfit.

Misty- 22, wearing a red tank top with a white bow across the top, pink shorts, white running shoes, her sapphire ring, and a pink backpack.

Brock- 27 (Flashbacks and phone converstations only), wearing his Sinnoh outfit and a white lab coat

Dawn- 15 (Phone converstations only), wearing her Platinum outfit.

Paul- 22, wearing a short sleeved purple jacket, a black tee shirt, purple torn jeans, purple and black shoes, and black and purple backpack.

Barry- 22, wearing his Platinum outfit.

Ranee- 22, wearing a short sleeved purple blouse, a white skirt, white running shoes, a white pouch, and a silver locket, and a purple headband.

Iris- 10, if you're watching Anime, then you knows what she looks like.

Cilan- 27, if you're watching Anime, then you knows what he looks like.

Jessie- 28, if you're watching Anime, then you knows what she looks like.

James- 28, if you're watching Anime, then you knows what he looks like.
