A Journey
Prologue
The young captain, cut up, bleeding on the cold floor. Dying embers falling down from the sky like rain. Touching and smearing on the captain's face and body. He coughed up blood, the blood got onto his name tag. With his shaking hand, he cleaned his name tag, showing the name "Alfred F. Jones." A blonde haired male appeared into the alleyway, right in front of Alfred.
"Arthur…," Alfred managed to say.
A smirk crossed the blonde man's face, "I'm surprised your still moving." His accent was a thick British accent. Arthur walked closer towards the damaged man on the floor. The flying cinders started covering Alfred's hair making his hair starting to look black. "If you were all the other soldiers, you would have been dead already, yet you still managed to survive.
"Now why is that?" Arthur asked.
"You love me," Alfred told. Arthur jumped at those words.
"Love? Are you a blubbering git?" Arthur asked. His face showed a fake cockiness, that he was hiding his actual love for him. "That was never love, I was using you! Don't you get it?"
"Not even in the mountians?"
"Not at all."
"Not even in Batton?"
"No."
"Not even the time we made love?"
Arthur paused, he grew quiet. Then quietly replied, "Not even then."
A long pause between the two. Alfred started to struggle as he attempted to get up. Arthur stood there aghast that Alfred could still move. Alfred stood up and walked over to Arthur.
"What are you doing?" Arthur freaked. "Can you just stop? I killed all these people! I burned this whole town! I, I even killed your own brother!"
"I don't care," Alfred managed to say as he moved closer to the British man. "You are what's important to me now."
Alfred, with all his strength pulled Arthur into his embrace. Arthur was surprised at first but then tears risen to his eyes. 'No, not again,' the British man thought.
Instead of returning the embrace, he pushed Alfred away, making him fall. Arthur pulled a dagger out of his boot and pointed it towards Alfred. "I'll make sure that you are never happy again," Arthur said as he started to make way for Alfred's chest.
