The Letter
Summary: Angel writes Buffy a letter about what's going on between them.

Dear Buffy,
There is really a no good way to start this letter. I have many things on my mind and no running an evil law firm isn't one of them. First, I'm glad you and the others
survived from Sunnydale. I only wished I was there to help you, but I respected your decision. Second, I guess you know by now, that I and Spike was in Rome a couple of months ago. We wanted to see how you were and do a mission for Wolfram & Hart. Now, before you throw this letter away, I don't work there anymore, like I wrote before. You see, it started three weeks when I came back from Rome. Hell came to Los Angeles.
I knew you wouldn't come to L.A. to help me and the others. Hell, you don't trust me and that would bring my third point. How dare you, sending someone else and tell me that? Now, I understand, because I was working at Wolfram & Hart at the time, but you couldn't fly to L.A. and say it to my face? You had to send someone else and do your dirty work for you? The reason, you didn't come because you didn't want to see my face, if you had said it. Well, guess what Buffy, sending someone else did the trick. You should have seen my face, when Andrew told me. It was priceless; you and the others could have had a big laugh. Buffy, you have to understand why I took the offer. In fact, I have no idea how you knew I was the C.E.O. That shouldn't be a stumper, your boyfriend, The Immortal, of course. He probably told you lies how I went over to the other side and became evil again. It sounds like I'm jealous and guess what I am. I'm not hiding it anymore. But, if you made that conclusion, then you were wrong. God, Buffy of all people I know, you know damn well I wouldn't do it. I was only trying to make the firm good, but I failed. One point for you, right? Anyway, I won't keep you much longer. I'm glad you're enjoying Europe and having a semi-life now. I'm sorry, if this letter ruin your week, but hey that's life. To end this painful letter, I'll sum the last part.
I don't like in Los Angeles anymore. Too many painful memories over there lost almost everyone on my team. From what I heard there is a new champion for the city. A half-demon. I'm going over there in a couple of weeks to see how everything is. I guess I won't have to fear to see you when I go to L.A. I have a new job now. I can't tell you what it is. It will hurt you and the others. Let's just say, I go to many countries, fight evil and save many lives. I have to go now. Buffy, you and I are going to see each other again. You know that. I don't when, but I got a feeling that it's going to be soon.
