Author's note: Just something that popped into my head. Sorry if characters are OOC or things seem inaccurate.

Harry Potter was not one for shedding tears. It was not that he disapproved of crying, only that he preferred to express his emotions through other ways. But in this circumstance, he could not help letting slip a few tears as his two best friends in the entire world said their I do's.
The small crowd gathered for the wedding burst into applause as the bride and groom shared their first kiss as a married couple. Harry clapped along and wiped the tears from his face, not caring on this occasion that people may have seen. Ron and Hermione grinned broadly when they broke apart. The crowd stood and they ran down the aisle, hands together and laughing. Harry realized he had never been as happy as he was now. At the reception, his happiness only grew. Loving words were shared, people long gone were remembered; there was laughter.
The music began to slow and the newlyweds took to the floor to share their first dance. Harry looked on in admiration, taking Ginny's hand and giving it a squeeze. When the song ended, the crowed applauded and the couple kissed. With that, the music started up again and people flooded the dance floor. Ginny dragged Harry to the center and he allowed himself to dance with his friends and the people he loved.
The music fluctuated between fast and slow throughout the course of the night. Upon one slower paced song, Harry interrupted the bride and groom from their dance and asked for a dance from the new Mrs. Weasley. Happily, Ron placed his wife's hand into the hand of his best friend. The two walked away and Ron chose to sit down at his table. He sipped slowly on his mead. He watched as Harry put a hand on Hermione's waist. His other hand held one of hers while she placed her other hand on his shoulder. The two began to spin and sway to the music.
Ron thought back to when the three of them had traveled all across the country in the search of horcruxes. He had believed that the girl he had fallen in love with was in love with his best friend. He had felt betrayed and for that reason he had left. Ron knew now that it was the locket that corrupted his thoughts, but there was no denying that Harry and Hermione shared something that he would – nor could – never understand. Hermione loved Harry in a way that Ron would never know, just as she loved Ron in a way that Harry would never know. But Ron was not jealous or upset with either of his friends. And why should he be? What they had was unbelievably special and he could not help but admire it.
He watched on admiringly as his best friends twirled about on the dance floor, their motions completely in sync. Their mouths moved, exchanging secret speeches he would most likely never hear. Hermione laughed at something said and Harry laughed with her. As their laughter died she leaned in and rested her head on his shoulder. Ron couldn't help but smile.
At last the song finished and Hermione and Harry embraced. Ron stood up and walked over to them. He could almost feel the warmth radiating from the two of them.
"Congratulations," Harry said as they pulled apart. Hermione kissed him on the cheek and smiled. He then turned to Ron and the two friends also embraced. Words were not needed. When they split Harry walked off the dance floor. Ron shared a tender kiss with his bride and guided her the middle of the floor for another dance.
Harry stopped once to look back. Yes, he thought, this was the happiest he'd ever been.
