Ladybug went to a warehouse in Paris due to an invitation to go there. On top of that, she hasn't heard from Cat Noir from about two days ago nor from Adrien. Having found a lead, she decided to check it out. She went to a warehouse and searched all of it, but it's all empty.
"Tell me, Ladybug. Were you expecting Cat Noir to be here?" a voice is heard, and she happens to saw a young redheaded man wearing a British flag shirt and white pants. He also happens to carry a cane with a ruby on top of it.
"Who are you?" she asked.
"My name is Mad Mod, and I have your friend right here."
With a press of the ruby, the warehouse has turned into a twisted place filled with chairs and busts of the brit himself. With another press, he reveals Adrien, but he now looks like an old man.
"Adrien! What did you do to him?!" Ladybug questioned furiously.
"You don't know, Ladybug, or should I say, Marinette?" Mad Mod leans closely to her face while walking around her in circles. Saying her true name just made the superheroine look surprised. "Were you expecting Cat Noir? Here's the question: why is Adrien there instead of that bad luck little snot?"
As she hears the question, she started to realize what his question meant. There's no doubt about it. Adrien Agreste is Cat Noir.
"I'm sure you understand by now. Oh, I gave Hawk Moth his ring," Mod added with an evil grin on his face.
"You gave Hawk Moth his ring? Are you nuts?!" Ladybug looks furious on that revelation. "You doomed us all!"
"Too bad I don't care, dearie. You, who has the mentality that Ladybug and Cat Noir always win and the bad guys always lose, will lose right here, right now."
Mad Mod jabs Ladybug to her stomach with his cane and grabs her earrings quickly, causing her transformation to fade away and reveal her true identity: Marinette Dupain-Cheng.
"It's over, Marinette," he smacks her to the face and straps her to one of his chairs. "Ladybug and Cat Noir has lost, and the bad guys win this time. I'll be going now to give Hawk Moth your earrings as well."
He takes his leave afterwards, leaving the two powerless heroes under his grip.
