Silent Confusion
Cat felt herself pulled in many different directions like a merry go round as everyone rushed out of Beck's RV; racing towards the cooler for some relief for their thirst. She was crushed as her friends squeezed her one by one after rushing out and screaming for joy. One form she found herself molding to unconsciously as she was pulled into a soft, grateful hug.
"Jade you're all sweaty," Cat said confused, staring at Jade's curvy toned body glistening in the mid-afternoon sunlight. It was an unusual sight seeing as the goth girl in anything revealing but Cat was also confused because she knew that Jade didn't like to sweat and here she was wet and sticky after coming out of the RV. Cat couldn't help but let her eyes roam over the enigma before her. She blushed almost the same color as her hair as she realized that she was still staring at Jade in her bikini.
"Never speak of it!" the dark haired girl responded shrilly back to Cat. Jade tried to block the memory of the slick wetness seeping through her pores as best as she could. She couldn't believe she had started sweating. As she ran to the beach with the rest of the group she noticed that Cat had yet to take her eyes off her. Jade rolled her eyes, Cat was probably still confused about her ability to sweat. All she wanted to do was forget the whole trapped in the RV situation. It was not her finest moment. Jade lay on her beach towel as everyone except Trina and Cat rushed to the water. Now that she had some water and was out of the RV she felt her body cool off immensely.
Cat watched as Jade lay down on her back with her sunglasses blocking her eyes. Trina was on her stomach letting the sun hit her back leaving Cat to sit with her thoughts as her eyes once again focused on Jade's body. She watched as Jade's chest rose slowly with each breath she took. Cat's eyes followed a droplet of sweat as it ran down the valley of Jade's breasts and was lost in her simple, black bikini top. Cat found herself enjoying a sweaty Jade. A sweaty Jade looked like liquid, like she could melt and would mold to any form.
Cat's thoughts subconsciously turned to reasons why Jade was sweating. It wasn't like they were home; they were at Venice Beach and it was way cooler than it was yesterday. Cat's thoughts turned to other ways to make Jade sweat and a deep red blush immediately covered her cheeks down her neck as she felt a wave of heat through her body; yet she didn't look away.
Jade felt someone's eyes on her. It definitely wasn't Trina, who was too self -centered to be staring at anything other than her reflection in a mirror and she knew everyone else was in the water; so that left Cat. She turned her head and lowered her sunglasses to the bridge of her nose watching Cat watch her. She felt exhilarated being under the scrutiny of the other girl.
Cat let her eyes slowly roam back up Jade's body, only then realizing that the other girl was watching her. Cat bit her lip in preparation for Jade's reaction but was surprised when Jade did something very un-Jade like and winked at her before smirking her trademark smirk. She slid her sunglasses back over her eyes leaving an already unusually silent Cat completely speechless.
Cat smiled as she noticed Jade was still smirking, and she lay and tilted her head to return to Jade watching. There was a silent agreement not to talk between the girls as the silently gazed at each other while laying in the warm sand.
