Part 1
The sun rose high above the hills, casting its warm glow on earth. Despite the early morning scene, little did the world know that they were in danger.
The pupils of Kadic Academy came to an early start. A long queue of pupils lined up by the aisle outside the bathroom, waiting for their turn. Meanwhile, they were busy chattering away. Taelia Hopper, a young teenager, was looking around. She tapped her foot impatiently as everyone waited for arrogant Sissi to take her fifth bath. After what seemed like hours, Sissi strutted out of the bathroom like a proud peacock. She had wrapped herself with a pink towel and had put up her makeup. All the pupils were gossiping about her behind her back. Not about how beautiful or good she was, but rather how evil and how long she took. Taelia felt an urge to join in, but she mustered up all her courage to refrain herself from doing so. After all, a model pupil never complains about someone else, unless it is a really serious offence or crime like stealing or vandalizing. Finally, it was her turn.
After a refreshing bath, Taelia prepared to meet Patrick and the gang. She slipped her bag over her shoulder and went down to the first floor to wait for the gang.
Soon, Patrick Belpois and Ulrik Stern arrived. They then waited a while for Yuki Ishiyama and Edd Della Robbia. While waiting, they chatted. After a while, Patrick heard giggles. He looked behind him and found Yuki and Edd giggling. The trio looked at them. Yuki, noticing the threesome looking at them, stopped laughing and said, "Well, it sure took you long enough to notice us." Upon hearing that statement, Edd stopped giggling too. "I guess," Ulrik laughed. The five then started laughing again. After a while, they stopped. "Well, what's up?" Yuki grinned. "Nothing much," Taelia replied. "Oh, look at the time, I need to go! I hope Sissi won't be up to any of her tricks again today! Bye!" Taelia ran off, waving back to them. "Well, speak of the devil, look who's here," Patrick groaned as he spied Sissi strutting down the school crossroads like the she was the next American Idol with Herve and Nicholas behind her. "Well, I need to go. Mrs Hertz is going to be mad if I don't turn up on time. Bye!" Yuki informed them hurriedly as she ran off in the blink of an eye. "We need to go for our Maths class. See you in Maths, good buddy!" Ulrik and Edd patted Patrick's shoulder as the duo chatted while they walked into the school building. Patrick quickly rushed in behind them, leaving Sissi in the dust with her two 'faithful' companions.
