Blood trickled down the side of her face as she quickly brushed a stray lock of hair out of her line of vision just in time to block a high kick that was meant for her face. Sakura grabbed his ankle and twisted it just as Sasuke turned and jerked his foot out of her grasp, landing a quick succession of punches which she blocked with a little effort. When fighting unclose with fists didn't work Sasuke jumped back and let out a score of stars that tore into her flesh but only made her angry.
"Damn you, Sasuke!" she yelled as she pulled a star out and turned it on him. Sasuke just laughed and deflected it with a small blast of chi.
"You'll have to do better than that if you want to win this Sakura!" He yelled, over the roaring wind that had been howling since they started. The weather was dim two hours ago and it was just treating to get worse as they continued their sparring. Sasuke became a blur and Sakura, tired but not showing it, couldn't keep up with where he was.
One second he was in front of her and the next she was face down in the mud. She pulled a small dagger from her pouch and turned cutting a thin line on his stomach. He stared in shock at the cut that she had given him and then turned his gaze to her.
Sakura's hand reached out as if it had a mind of it's own and traced the line that the blood was trailing down and then she placed her hand over the cut and sent a blast of healing chi into it, causing the cut to heal.
As she went to pull her hand back he grabbed it and pulled her towards him, giving her a small peck on the lips and then releasing her.
Sasuke gave her a small smirk and then spoke three words.
"It never happened." He said as he fell back into a fighting stance. She seemed stricken until she realized why he had a smirk on his face.
"It never happened." She agreed as she charged him again.
It seemed that things that never happened seemed to happen a lot during that sparring session and during every sparring session from then on.
AN: Don't own etc. etc. Just a fully little one shot.
