It'd been a grueling hunt with Dean once again taking the brunt of the hurting. No matter how much Sam reminded him they agreed to be partners – equals – Dean still put Sam first.
So before their next job, Sam decided to take advantage of an open-ended offer to visit an old Stanford friend, now an admissions dean.
In Massachusetts. At Smith College.
An all-women's college.
With a nudge, Sam woke Dean who, genuinely touched by his brother's gesture, grinned impishly at the dorm party that awaited them.
"You are good to me Sammy," Dean cooed.
"On occasion," Sam answered, smiling.
