The doors fled open. Out came a guard, who bowed low, and said, "Fire Lord Zuko, Fire Lady Mai, and their daughter Hikari." With that, he walked to the side, revealing Zuko, Mai, and Hikari.

Aang ran forward and hugged Zuko with warmth. When they separated, they bowed and smiled.

"It's so good to see you, Sifu Hotman." Aang said, smiling huge.

"You, too, Aang." Zuko replied.

Aang then turned to Mai, and bowed.

"Thank you for invited us, Avatar Aang." Mai said, smiling.

"Please. You think I wouldn't invite my best friends?"

"Aang, sweetheart, do you know where the tsungi horn player went? I can't find him anywhere and- Oh!" A large smile stretched across Katara's face, and she ran over to her husband. She bowed low, and joyfully said, "It's so nice to see you, Zuko, Mai, and Hikari."

The family bowed in reply, and walked into the large hall. The walls were decorated a light gold, with swirls of blue decorating the walls. Drawings of the Air Nomads were scattered throughout the room, accenting a large painting in the front of the room- a painting of Aang, when he was but thirteen years old. There is a look of peace on his face, as he bends the four elements in unison. There were numerous flags of each of the element hanging from the ceiling.

For the next few hours, every person Aang and his friends met during their adventures arrived to the party. Sokka and Suki arrived next, who were married and living in Kyoshi Island. Toph then came, who was General of the Ba Sing Se army. Teo and his father, The Hippo and the Boulder, Haru, King Bumi, Iroh, Mai's family, and many others arrived.

The Avatar was celebrating 20 years of peace.

There were food and music from all different regions, and Zuko eventually decided to play the Tsungi Horn, mainly to save himself from his uncle's nagging. Katara, Aang, and Master Pakku all performed a show with their Waterbending, and Toph performed also. Then Zuko decided to hand the Tsungi Horn over to the hired musician, and spent the slow song dancing with Mai. Aang danced with Katara, Sokka with Suki, and many people spent the remainder of the night outside.

There was a young boy standing alone against the wall. His coal black hair was ruffled and messy, but he was very handsome. When the band began to play again, the young boy decided to get some air. He walked out onto the deck, and breathed in the clean air. He leaned on the cast iron bars on the deck, and stared out at the glowing stars in the sky.

He suddenly heard someone stirring behind him, and turned. Behind him was a young girl, about his age, stopped dead in her tracks. She wore a light green dress, with dark brown hair pulled into a high ponytail. Though she had makeup on, it couldn't mask how much she was blushing.

"Hey." Whispered the boy, and turned around again to stare at the stars. It took a few minutes, but the girl eventually walked up and stood next to the boy. They stood there for a few songs, silent. Until the boy whispered, "How do you know the Avatar?"

No one would have been able to hear him. His voice was so quiet, it was almost inaudible. Yet she heard him perfectly.

"He was there at my birth." She whispered. She, too, would have been too quiet for anyone to hear. But he heard her fine. "Lady Katara helped my mother."

"Oh, wow. That's really cool. I, too, knew him when I was younger. And my older sister's a friend of his."

There was a long silence after that. They both began to blush, and couldn't help but look away from each other.

"W-what's your name?" Whispered the girl, her blush finally fading down.

"Tom-Tom. You?"

"Hope." Whispered the girl.
