Fragmented Memories
"Darkness rules your heart - it gives me control..."
Echoes of battles, the conflicting voices in his heart clashing.
"Muscle and sinew that once obeyed you now rebels against you."
He lost control years ago, just a shadow in his own heart. After all those years of fighting, his will was shattered.
"How long has it been since I abandoned that name?"
His heart had never truly been expelled from the body Xehanort took over.
"Denizens of light, answer this: Why do you hate the darkness?"
He heard his body speak lies, the trickery that deceived so many.
"Accursed... Keyblade..."
The words remind him of different times, years ago.
"You had better check. Make sure the box's contents match what's on the label."
If he had control of his body, he would've laughed bitterly.
"The broken boy who failed to be the blade... the misguided master who sacrificed herself for a friend... and the feckless youth who became my new vessel."
In the scraps of memory he had left, he could vaguely see the faces of those closest to him.
"But Sora and another on your list belong to me now. And that puts you three guardians short."
The things he fought to protect, fading into darkness.
"Oh? So that's how it is, is it? Someone else has set foot in your heart. Eraqus, you sly fox..."
He had failed them. They were counting on him, and he had failed them years ago.
"We are out of time. Neither the union of light nor darkness has been achieved, and we must all return whence we came. But, the gathering of the seven and thirteen is nigh. Let us finish this at the fated place, once your lights and my darknesses have joined together!"
His fading hope was in the boy he had heard mentioned many times.
"He's the connection."

They're all quotes from Xehanort/Xemnas. I think that Terra's still trapped within Xehanort, possibly Xemnas, since Xemnas is the Nobody of Terra-Xehanort. But, yeah. That's what I think.
It was short, but this was a spur of the moment thing!
