Adults have said to us when we were younger, "Your growing up, you have to stop fantasying about flying mythical beings or creatures. There are no such thing as Fairies, elves, Unicorns, Pegasus, Dragons, or Dragoons!"

They have been telling us that for many years, telling us, "It'll never come true."

But that's when they're wrong…

"Somebody help!"

The roar of thunder was heard all over the flying castle. A young girl crying for help as the castle was being engulfed by figures running out of the castle on to the front steps.

"Princess! Where are you!" yelled a woman wrapped in a black cloak.

"Help! I'm over here!" a young girl yelled through a crack in the wall.

"Are you okay Lisa?"

"I'm stuck Miss Rosa. The door is blocked. Can you find some help?"

"Yes, will you be okay by yourself Princess?"

"I will be fine, hurry!"

Rosa the Princess's maid ran off searching for help in the hallways. The Princess looked through the crack because it being the only light from where she was sitting. She was locked in a storage room, stone and gravel blocked the door on the other side. She can hear the battle going on in the sky around the castle, loud roars, people yelling, and the sound of explosions. She sat there looking out the crack worried, that no one will ever come and save her. She heard the sound of gravel moving and small grunts on the other side of the door. Afraid that it might be someone or something that has caught her sent and is looking for food. Light was seen under the door, a shadow moving back and forth. She closed her eyes. Click, click. She heard the doorknob turn and the door opening slowly. She curled up tighter and closed her eyes tightly, all of a sudden she felt something embraced her and picked her up off the ground. She slowly opened one eye and looked up. She can see a face under the hooded man. He looked young, a triangle tattooed under his left eye. His eyes black as night, bangs hung over his right eye covering it so she can barley see it. He seemed kind and sincere, she felt safe with him. She felt some sort of armor under his cloak, he has to be some sort of soldier. He carried her into a dining room and he placed her on a chair. The tapestries have been torn, plates thrown everywhere, everything was looted.

"Who are you?" asked the princess.

He took off his cloak and wrapped it around the princess. She looked at his armor he was wearing, they weren't the armor of a normal soldier. He wore a circlet around his head with wings pointing up above his ears, his chest piece was dark blue with a picture of a dragon on it with emerald blue eyes, on his left arm he wore a gauntlet that had a sapphire orb on it and the right was plain. She looked at his face again, his face calm and caring.

"You're a Dragoon!" she whispered.

He looked at her, smiled then did a small bow. He reached behind her head and put the hood over her.

"Why don't you speak Dragoon, I would like to know you name."

He looked at her and stood up then leaned on the table.

"Please tell me your name Dragoon. I order you to speak and tell me your name."

He looked at her, "My name is Ky."

"That's better. Were you ordered to save me?"

"No, a maid named Rosa ran into me, she told me where I can find you. My orders were to find the enemy and destroy."

She scooted over toward him and held his hand. "Thank you for saving me." She leaned her head on his arm.

He looked down at her and smiled.

"What are we waiting for Ky?"

Right when she finished that sentence, a group of people slammed open the door, laughing. One of them looked over at the couple holding hands. "Look at this! Ky has found himself a little lover."

"Ky, your orders were to clear out that castle and meet us here. Not go find yourself a damsel in distress and meet us here…"
