" I don't know what you want from me!" Narcissa fumed upon entering the Slytherin common room.

"I have already explained what it is I want, Narcissa," Lucius hissed, slamming the door shut. Everyone in the room went silent when they entered. Snape looked up from the thick tome he was reading with curious apathy. Regulus, Avery, and Dolohov looked up from their chess tournament, smirks adorning their faces. The two blonds quickly noted the numerous other people around the room. Not wanting to make a scene, they retreated to Lucius' private dorm.

"You wish for me to show you more affection, touch you, kiss you more, but what if I'm not particularly comfortable with that, Lucius? It is unbecoming of a lady, and a Black to show such emotions publicly. I thought of all people you, a Malfoy, would understand."

Lucius sat heavily on the bed, his arms crossed tightly, a scowl upon his lips. He remained silent.

"You're acting like a child, Lucius! Is it not enough that you know I love you? Why must all of Hogwarts be included in our personal business? Is the green-eyed monster so encompassed in your personality that you need me to prove myself to you on a regular basis?" she sniffed disdainfully. "Whilst you flirt shamelessly with half the female populace of Hogwarts!" She was losing strength in her voice, it became cracked and broken from the tears she was desperately holding back. Why is Lucius acting this way?

Still Lucius was silent.

"I am not a chamber maid you can replace with another when you are dissatisfied." She interlaced their fingers, taking a deep breath as she looked into his eyes. "I am yours as you are mine. We have made a life long commitment to each other and I do not wish for that to change. But that does not give you the right to disrespect me as you have! So I ask you again, what is it you really want of me?"

"I ask for your kisses, your touch, your love, your calm conversation unprovoked. Do it because you want to. I'll not stop or stay your hand. That is all, my love," Lucius said calmly, and with the up most sincerity.

Narcissa stood there, stunned. Merlin, do I feel like a fool. "I have misunderstood. I am sorry, Lucius." He smiled softly. That smile only reserved for her. That smile only she could bring out on his usually cold masked features. She smiled in return. "Forgive me?" she asked with a pout. He chuckled low in his throat and wrapped his arms around her.

"We've both acted like foolish Gryffindors haven't we?" She giggled, relaxing into his embrace. "I shall forgive you if you show me the same courtesy." She looked up at him, her smile widening.

"It's a deal. Shall we go down to the common room and prove to everyone we haven't killed each other?"

He motion to the door, "Après vous, ma cherie."

A/N: I wrote the first half of this when I was a little frustrated, and not too happy, but as usual my frustration were proved foolish, and thus you have a happy ending. Poor Slytherins always dealing with these two and their melodramatics.
