Disclaimer- And lo, the Bubbles doth not own Star Trek or Chinese Checkers. They belong to their respective and most lucky creators.

Sulu stared around the corridor until he spotted Chekov. He rushed over to the navigator.

" Pavel, there you are!" he grabbed Chekov's arm and guided the Russkie to a table in the rec room. He sat him down and occupied the opposite chair.

"What's up, Sulu?" the Ensign asked, confusion plastered all over his adorable face.

"How would you like to learn a new game, Pavel?"

Chekov smiled. He liked games.

"What is this game?" he asked.

"Its called Chinese Checkers."

"I know this game," Chekov said with a nod. "It was inwented in Russia."

Sulu looked like he was about to say something, then changed his mind. He shook his head.

"No, Pavel, it was invented in China, that's why its called Chinese Checkers."

Chekov put a hand on the Friscan's shoulder. "No, Sulu, it was a Russian inwention," he reassured. "It was called Chinese Checkers as an attempt to cover up Russia's contributions in China."

"Whatever. Anyway, lets play. What color marbles do you want?"

"Green."

"Okay." Sulu set up the board. "I'll play pink."

Chekov snickered.

"I only have two full sets of marbles," Sulu said crossly.

Chekov suppressed another snicker and nodded. "Whatever you say. How do you play?"

"Well its pretty simple." Sulu began explaining the game.

Ten Minutes Later...

"Ok, you got it?"

"I think so."

"Good, lets play."

They began playing.

Sulu, well, he was horrible at this game.He lost in about five minutes. He slumped down in his chair.

"You're horrible at this game, Sulu," Pavel said. "Why are you teaching me a game you're so bad at?"

Sulu set up the board again.

"I always beat the computer," he said grumpily. "Wanna go again?"

"You're on."

A/N- Don't bother asking me where I came up with this story. I wrote back in April and I can't remember.
