Xander Harris was in trouble.
No, scratch that. Xander Harris was doomed.
From the moment he laid eyes upon the golden haired woman, his heart no longer belonged to himself.
He had been in this world for several years, had seen the realms of both elves and men, and had seen those nasty creatures that the locals had called orcs.
But he had never given up hope that he might one day return home.
That was, until he saw her.
He had traveled with the fellowship, basking in the glow of something so familiar. It was almost like being with the Scoobies again. People on the side of good, united to defeat a force of evil. Yep, just like good old Sunnyhell.
But the moment that he laid eyes upon the Shieldmaiden of Rohan, his desire to return home was vanquished.
Eowyn, sister-daughter of the King of Rohan, was everything that he looked for in a woman.
She was tiny, blonde, and she could kick his ass to the edge of the world and back again.
Too bad Xander Harris was a ghost.
At least with Buffy he had had a chance.
