Happy (Belated) 20th Anniversary!
I used to be a 90's kid watching good Nickelodeon shows
And looking back it's obvious that the best of the best I chose
Hey Arnold! is the name of one that topped all of the rest
Its characters and story lines pushed boundaries with zest
Arnold, he's a quirky kid with a head shaped like a football
Gerald is his cool best friend whose hair is very tall
Helga's a tough girl, the meanest bully on the street
In secret she writes poetry with love that is so sweet
Phoebe is Helga's best friend, the smartest of the grade
Curly is a bit crazy taking off on his own crusade
Harold, Sid and Stinky are always the best of pals
Rhonda is the fashion queen surrounded by the gals
Lila is ever so nice, and Sheena loves peace
Nadine hangs with Rhonda and also the bugs she keeps
Eugene's positive attitude outshines his bad luck
Brainy may stalk Helga, but her fist he doesn't duck
Mr. Simmons sees all his students as "special" as can be
The boarders at the Sunset Arms are a kooky family
Arnold's Grandpa gives him advice, and throws in a prank or two
His Grandma is eccentric and shenanigans ensue
As for Arnold's parents, well, we'll find out the truth next fall
And there are many more characters with parts both big and small!
