So this is a trail for my first ever BF5 fiction. I want to see if you guys will respond to this and want me to continue it. Either way the only reason I'm starting this fic is because I love Tezz and I want to give him my own version of his girlfriend/love interest which will be based on me (at some points).
Summary: The BF5 are still battling the Red Sentients and have been doing a good job as of late. Suddenly when their cover for their tricked out vehicles gets bought out by a company and said company opens a factory near the HQ it proves to be a lot of trouble, especially with the ever increasing media coverage over the factory. It proves another challenge but is it really? (Crappy summary I know.) Rated because of language and future reference.
Character Pairing: (I don't care if you don't like a pairing or not, just live with it.) Main: Tezz/OC. Slight: Grace (waitress in Zeke's)/Vert/Sage, Grace/Zoom, Agura/Stanford, OC/OC and OC/Kyrtus/Kyburi (there might be more additions to this later). And sadly Sherman, Spinner, and AJ are not paired but they may/may not do some major flirting so I guess its ok.
Disclaimer: I do not own Hot Wheels and their many shows/product/characters/etc. I only own the OCs that are in here and that's it!
Key: "Regular talking" "emphasis" thinking/anything extra setting change/POV change. (I'll tell you if this changes which most likely it won't.)
As a last and final note I shall remind you that this is a trail and I need reviews to continue this. The more reviews the faster I update. I welcome flames and criticism but let me warn you ahead of time that I tend to ignore most flames/ criticism.
Zeke's/No POV
After once again battling the Red Sentients and once again bringing home yet another well earned victory, the gang decided to fuel up, both their vehicles and their growling stomachs. So they filled up and drove down to Zeke's where they ordered to large pizzas, just to start off with.
"And then I hit him from above." Zoom recapped their last battle with the Reds from the moment they sat down. He was just about finished and he enthusiastically added sound effects to heighten the entertainment of the recap. "Then once we took the key we raced towards the Storm Shock and zipped right through, leaving the bad guys behind!" He gave a short laugh of pride and happiness as he finished the summary of their battle.
Agura shook her head at the youngest member of their secret alien-fighting squad. "You are very happy about the last fight Zoom. What's so different about that one from the others?"
Zoom's face twisted as he thought. He then gave a shrug. "I don't know. I think I had too much coffee this morning."
"You shouldn't be feeling the effect now Zoom." Tezz replied, his Russian accent standing out from miles away. "The energy would be already out of your system and you would most defiantly crash."
Stanford rolled his eyes and placed his hands behind his head. "Eh… So he's a late bloomer." After ignoring a sound of protest from Zoom he continued. "Besides, the sound effects were awesome. Good job buddy."
Vert chuckled. "Speaking of which you all did a good job."
Spinner laughed once sharply and copied Stanford's position. "When do we not do a good job?"
"Well…" Sherman started, "we do sometimes mess up."
"Eh… We're alright." Spinner shrugged his brother's comment off.
AJ stretched and gave a big yawn. "You guys are lucky. You always get to go off and do cool things. I'm stuck at the hub with Tezz and Sage all the time."
"We're lucky?" Stanford asked a small amount of shock lining his voice as he bent forward towards AJ and as his hands transferred from the back of his head to the table. "Sometimes you are mate. What I wouldn't give to just have a week doing nothing."
Agura rolled her eyes and sighed. She casually glanced up at the small-ish TV set in the far top right corner of the little diner. The news was on. Apparently national news. Suddenly the emblem of their cover story for their cars, Spectra Motors, appeared in the corner of the TV screen. "Guys." She called out as she pointed to the TV. She then looked at Zeke who was behind the counter. "Zeke, raise the volume on the TV."
Zeke looked up and looked at the TV then back at the only customers in his diner. "Uh... Sure." He reached for the remote which he kept in one of the drawers and raise the volume as instructed.
The news lady's voice got louder and the story on Spectra Motors became more understandable. "As of late the racing company and mass producer of race cars has been bought out by the ever-growing Talent Technology Company. The statement was released just two days ago on the buy-out and of another secret plant Talent Technology has been planning; a new factory and lab being opened. You heard right. Apparently Talent Tech has been secretly building a new factory in New Mexico right in the middle of nowhere, the Salt Flats. The owners of the growing company hasn't released any other information since the statement two days ago so nothing is known about what the company will do with Spectra Motors or what Talent Tech will bring out next." The graphic then changed to a girl with tan skin, blonde hair and green eyes. "All we know is that the new facility will be opened in a matter of days and that Camellia Talent, adopted daughter of Jonathan and Kaiyo Talent, designer, inventor and model for Talent Tech will be placed in the new facility as its supervisor. I am Sharon Heart, reporting for the CaliSun 31. Back to you Thomas."
"Can you believe that?" Agura said outrage behind her voice. "Now what are we supposed to do about our cover? We can say we work for Talent Technology now but it wouldn't be believable." She looked at her friends, most of which were ignoring her.
"Can you believe it brother?" Sherman asked a big smile on his face. "Not only is there going to be a nearby Talent Tech but there's also going to be super genius Camellia Talent here to talk about the functioning's of future technology."
"Not to mention she's hot!" Spinner pulled out his iphone and pulled up a picture of Camellia from the last issue of the Cortez brothers' favorite magazine, 'Tech All Around'. "See how she models the new TT Gyro 2!" The picture showed Camellia laying long ways on a sofa chair in a short, mid-thigh length skirt, a tank top with the bottom half cut and her hair draped around one shoulder. In one hand she held a phone with a blue light coming out of it which was actually a hologram with the phone's name being shown. Spinner retracted his arm and looked at the picture. "So hot."
"I agree brother." Sherman agreed. "But really, it's her work that is amazing."
Tezz blinked. "Talent Technology. Didn't they invent the Desk and the EsilBook?"
"Yep!" Spinner nearly shouted. "The touch desk and the awesome laptop. Though there's an EsilBook 2 now which I heard also has the hologram feature like the Gyro 2 does."
"Look like I need to befriend this girl." Stanford said with a sly smile. "Maybe she can get me some free stuff or at least some discounts."
AJ nodded. "I agree there. I need a new phone. My Verizon's a piece of crap."
The group laughed and was suddenly interrupted by Grace bringing their pizzas. "Here you guys go. One large pepperoni, extra cheese and one with everything on it."
"Thanks Grace." Vert said.
"Yeah. Thanks a lot Grace." Zoom echoed.
Grace gave them both a nod. "Enjoy." She walked away and the BF5 started eating their food. Getting off the topic of Talent Tech, they started to talk about their battles with the Reds once more. After finishing off the two pizzas they decided to order one more since Sherman and AJ were still 'starving'. While they waited for their third pizza and car pulled up to the diner outside. Sherman immediately recognized it.
"Oh my Jesus. It's a TTHSE."
"A what?" Agura asked as she looked out towards the car that just pulled up. It was gray with white detail in it, mainly around the windows and the front vents. It looked much like a Chevy Volt in its shape but was obviously different. The driver door opened butterfly-style and its driver, clad in jeans and a hoody (with the hoody up), and holding some sort of laptop in his hands came out.
"A TTHSE." Spinner said. "A Talent Tech Hydro-Solar Electric Car; a kick-ass car that runs on hydroelectric, solar and electric energy. All three! It's supposed to be going into mass production soon. It's been pretty hush-hush over the past few years while Talent Tech tried creating the perfect environmental friendly vehicle. The fan-site claims that this is why the Talents bought Spectra Motors, so they can be the first to mass produce a car like it." The doors on the TTHSE closed and the driver apparently locked the car. He walked quickly into the diner and waited by the door.
"You can sit anywhere you'd like." Zeke called from behind the counter. "Grace will be right with ya."
The mysterious driver took a table just feet away from the BF5. He sat perpendicularly to the BF5 and placed the laptop on the table. Opening it, it became apparent that it was no ordinary laptop. Once again Sherman recognized it. With a small gasp he whispered "The EsilBook. And by the looks of it, it's the second one."
Grace came up and took the driver's order before the driver finally put down his hood. The he was shown to actually be a girl and not just any girl, Camellia Talent.
"Oh sweat Jesus!" Spinner shouted as he jumped up and half crawled half ran over his friends and the table. They protested of course but he ignored them. He rushed up to the table and started stuttering up a storm. "Y-you're, you're Talent! C-Camellia Talent! Oh… Oh my god! We-we were just talking… Oh my god!" He did a quick spin before continuing his fan-attack on her. "You! You're here! In Zeke's!" He exhaled and took a closer look at her. "Wow. Hotter in person. Much better than some pixels I tell you that."
Spinner was soon joined by his brother. "Hello Miss Talent. I'm Sherman Cortez, this is my brother Spinner. We're big fans of you and your parents' company."
Camellia blinked up her fans. She wondered if there was ever going to be a place where there were no fans to bother her. Still she put on a small smile. "Hey guys."
"She said hey-!" Spinner freaked as he collapsed at one of the empty chairs.
"Excuse him." Sherman said. "May I?" He asked as he pointed towards another empty chair. Against her better judgment and the fact she needed to get some work done she sighed and nodded. "Thanks." He took his seat and smiled at the girl whose smile was no longer on her face. She knew she should have stayed back at the factory to work. But no. She thought angrily. I wanted to go explore my new home and get out for a while. Jeez Cam, think sometimes. "I won't bother you long but I was wondering if there was any way we could get passes for the grand opening of the new facility."
"What?" She couldn't hold back the word as it escaped her lips.
"Good thinking bro." Spinner softly congratulated.
"I know it's a lot to ask but we're big fans." The two Cortez brothers smiled at her and her gaze swept past them both.
Great Cam. Now what are you going to do? Not much was the reply that came speeding at her. She sighed. "All right." She looked down at her computer and quickly logged in. Once that was done she went looking for the printable passes she kept on her computer. She can email the passes with their names put in there and they can get into the opening.
"Yes!" Spinner hissed in happiness.
Sherman smiled and nodded. "Thanks." A beat passed. "Would you mind giving passes to my friends too?" Her fingers stopped typing. She looked up in exasperation. "It wouldn't be fair to them and I know that they'd enjoy it too."
She looked over to the table the two came from. There were six others. She can't give passes out like candy! She looked back at the brothers and was about to refuse them completely (that including their own passes) but their god damn looks. It was literally two identical puppy-dog looks. God damn whoever created that look. She half sighed half groaned. "Fine. I need their names."
"Yes!" Spinner repeated.
"Thanks again." Sherman's smile grew as he started to give her the others' names. By the time she finished typing their names onto the passes she sent an email (using an automated format so that they can't email her back like mad men) her food came to her.
"I'm sorry but can you pack that up for me?" She digged for her wallet in her back pocket.
"Sure. Of course." Grace nodded and took the plate of pancakes (AN: yummy, breakfast for lunch!) back to the counter to box it up.
Camellia quickly logged out of the computer and shut it. She suddenly was thankful she only ordered water and that she didn't bring a lot of work crap with her. She placed $10 on the table and received her box from Grace in near perfect timing. "You'll get the passes at your email and you can print them off there. The opening date's on the pass and if there's any problem ask for me or my assistant Tyler and I'll help you out." She looked at Grace. "Thanks and you can keep the change."
"No prob and thanks." She picked up the 10 and placed it in her apron pocket.
Camellia sighed once more before saying goodbye to the Cortez brothers and escaping from fan-glomp-ness. Sherman and Spinner went back to their booth just as the third pizza was being delivered to their table. "We got passes for the opening!" Spinner said.
"For all of us." Sherman added.
They talked for a bit about the passes and the opening before Sherman and AJ dived into their pizza. Tezz ignored them all as he watched Camellia Talent get into her car and drive off.
So what'd you guys think? Pretty long first chapter, for a trail chapter at least. Remember, more reviews = faster updates so review if you wish me to continue. BTW, in case you're wondering, Camellia's like 18/19 years old 'cause I think that Tezz is like 20/21 years old (my opinion).
