Gertrude steps off the train in Hammelburg and looks for Wilhelm. When she called to say she was coming Wilhelm said he would come and pick her up. "Gertrude! Over here!" Gertrude turns towards the voice and sees Wilhelm waving at her. She walks down the platform towards Wilhelm. When she reaches her fiancé she hugs him tightly. "It's so good to see you." Wilhelm whispers in her ear.
"I missed you." Gertrude says sweetly. She leans her head on Wilhelm's chest for a moment before they pull apart.
"Can Schultz get your trunk for you?" Wilhelm asks sweetly.
"Oh yes, here's my luggage tag." Gertrude passes Schultz the small slip of paper.
Wilhelm turns to Schultz and says, "We'll meet you at the car, Schultz. Come on Gertrude." Wilhelm offers his arm to his fiancé and they walk out of the train station.
