Their Prophecy
A secret not spoken but understood. She longed for him as he longed for her, they could never be, in their one moment they brought the downfall and heartache that time could never heal.
Chapter 1
Hermione was smart, proud, strong and noble that was her perception of herself, in her opinion she was not pretty or beautiful, however bossy and uptight. Many held the same opinion and that was okay with her because she would the one to come out on top, she was top of the class, top of the year, employee of the month future leader. She was a winner and didn't need something as silly as love and the distractions of popularity. However which way she put it she still longed to become the swan she had always dreamed of, the beauty.
In her fourth year for a brief moment she felt beautiful, elegant, desired and she loved it. The yule ball made her and tore her down. The years of wishing for Ron to notice her, when he finally did she knew they would never work. However well they turned out together In her mind. She needed a challenge someone smart but not academically smart they would have to be different, thinking outside the box new creative thinking something to shape the future, make people talk. But be able to keep up with her fast thinking.
She had come to the conclusion that she would never find love because it obviously didn't exist at least the version she was looking for. Her ideal love would be funny and caring, fiercely strong in character and strength, he would be protective and someone people adored and deeply cared for. This in part did sum up Ron however she needed intelligence and outside the box thinking, which was most definitely not Ron.
In her fifth year she realised something new, Fred and George Weasley were amazing, they were fantastically talented at charms and potions. Okay so academically they didn't seem intelligent but all the weasley wheeze products had such amazing magic in each and every one they made. She always had a small crush on them for their looks because they were absolutely gorgeous, the dream boats of Hogwarts, it was their finale year and they were going to go out with a bang, especially from the massive box of fireworks Hermione saw them messing around with. Hermione didn't care since going back for fifth year she was focusing on her OWLs more than anything else so that she could one da fight for house elves rights.
She also enjoyed the fact they were against Umbridge, she was a vile little women. Mad with demonic power and a satanic pen. No matter how much trouble the weasley twins caused it was not half as much heroine wanted to cause since the arrival of the toad that was Umbridge.
The only thing that led Hermione to believe she had fallen for Fred, was when she found him caring for a firstie, they had accidently let off a stink bomb and Fred told them to run for it as Umbridge was fast approaching, as they ran he called out "Hello honey, I'm home." Hermione couldn't help but laugh, Umbridge stormed up to Fred. It was a funny sight to behold as the barely five foot women Screamed out that it was completely rude and disgraceful behaviour for a seventh year, ending with a sentence of five detentions with her. Fred stared down as he towered over her at 6ft 2 and said "I look forward to it" Giving a signature grin, bowing and flouncing off passing me bye with a sad smile on his lips.
At first it was a shock, be thinking back Fred had always been kind and caring, he always seemed the more serious of the twins, he had this want to make everyone happy, to make everyone smile not matter how much he had to do, he would produce something up lifting and smile worthy in the darkest of moments he was a light. And Hermione was only beginning to realise this.
