Iris and Rori were an odd pair and when the two were together, there was rarely a peaceful moment. The two disregarded orders from Lucy quite often – simple ones to keep quiet or to complete a simple task. Rori was a concern in herself; reckless and hot headed. But the quieter Iris often worried Shaun.
She was fascinated in concealed weapons. She collected and created them. In fact, he nearly lopped off a few fingers messing with what he believed to be a simple top hat – until blades shot out, circling its brim.
That was still a prototype. Was her simple reply – aloof and rather cheery.
After that, he made sure never to touch one of her items again.
So seeing her working at the computer, a certain grin on her lips tipped him off that she was up to something again.
"What are you doing?" He inquired, leaning over slightly to catch a glimpse at the screen.
It seemed she was messing with an audio program, adjusting the pitches at a rather high frequency, from what he could see. Shifting slightly, she swiveled the chair around, grinning up at him.
"I'm adjusting audio frequencies to a higher pitch. If I'm correct, I can make people lose their minds with a nearly invisible tone~. If things go well, I might even be able to kill a person without even touching them~."
Shaun started at the blond female for a brief moment, a frown on his lips. He then turned, spotting Rori a little further away from him.
"Your friend concerns me."
"You wouldn't be the first." She replied, a bored tone to her voice. "Just hide when she tests it. That's all we need. An accidental mass murder."
Iris only laughed at the statement, which slightly unsettled him. Day by day, it was proving that she was not as nice or as sane as he believed - At least, in his mind. He made an extra note to stay away when she was up to something. He was sure his health depended on it…
