Where's the Harm?
Declaimer: Somewhere over the rainbow skies are blue and the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true... Somewhere over the rainbow I would own Pirates of the Caribbean. To my greatest mortification, this is not somewhere over the rainbow.
A/N: All the Jack/Elizabeth island scenes were starting to annoy me... So here you are, one of my very own invention! Set somewhere after the arrival on the island and before the campfire.
Captain Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swann sat next to each other in the sand. Elizabeth was starting glumily into the horizon. Jack looked bored.
"I'm bored," Jack announced.
"I don't care," Elizabeth retorted.
"What can we do?" Jack asked. "What do a man and a woman marooned on a deserted island do?"
Elizabeth looked scandalized. "Don't you even think about it,"
"What?" Jack asked, honestly (for once in his life) bewildered.
"You know," Elizabeth said blushing.
"Ooooh. That."
"Yes, exactly." Elizabeth said. "That."
"Well, what about it?" Jack asked.
"WHAT?"
"Will you do it?"
"NO, I MOST CERTAINLY WILL NOT!" Elizabeth screamed.
"Why not?" Jack demanded.
"Jack, no."
"You won't even have to take your clothes off,"
"I don't want to hear about it!" she shrieked.
"Why? I'll be right there in case anything happens,"
"I can imagine," Elizabeth muttered darkly.
"Where's the harm in it?"
"JACK!"
"What is going on? It's perfectly safe,"
"First of all, no it isn't, second I DON'T WANT TO!" adorable Miss Swann shrilled.
"It is safe, Elizabeth," Jack assured her earnestly. "If you want me to, I'll be holding you all the while,"
"Stop it!" Elizabeth cried with another blush.
"What? It's not as bad as all that. It's not like I'm asking you to... sleep with me or anything."
"Wait, what are you asking me?"
"I was wondering if you wanted to go swimming, but as you think it's so horribly improper, I'll leave it."
"Oh." Elizabeth said blankly. "Well, I suppose it's alright,"
"What took you so long?" Jack asked and they went down to the shore to swim.
A/N: Well, did you like it? Please review and I'll give you figurative ice cream!
