Prompt on my tumblr: Write a Faberry drabble about cross-dressing.

"Look, Rachel, there is no way I'm going outside with you while you look like that." Quinn stood in Rachel's foyer, tapping her foot in irritation. She crossed her arms over her pink dress, furrowing her brow as she glared at what Rachel was wearing.

"But it's a pair costume, Quinn! If you're dressed like this," She gestured to Quinn's outfit, complete with the umbrella, radish, mushroom and little crown on her head, "as your girlfriend, I am entitled to dress like this!" She poked at her fake moustache and played with her fat suit and overalls. "The height difference is great as well, so…"

"You could have been Daisy! Or, like, I could have been Zelda, and you could have been Link! WHY DID YOU HAVE TO BE MARIO!" Quinn's eye twitched in rage, and Rachel took a step back.

"I… like Mario? I could have been Bowser, if that's what you'd prefer…"

Quinn rolled her eyes, and whirled around, her long blonde curly hair trailing in her wake. "I give up, Rach; you do whatever. We're going to be late for Puck's stupid video game costume party. I'll be waiting at your car." Rachel could hear her muttering about Jews and their obsession with stupid video games and Mario under her breath. At the car, she turned back to the house. "You know, Mario, your princess will be in another castle if you don't hurry up."

Rachel sighed, before reaching into the closet to grab something before bounding after the blonde. "I… got you something."

Quinn just raised her eyebrow, unimpressed, until Rachel handed a bouquet of red, orange, yellow and white tulips to her.

"I… couldn't get actual fire flowers or whatever, but these are as close as I could get… and…" She reached into the fat suit, and pulled out a little green plush dinosaur. "Here." Rachel looked away, despondent, and pouted. "I… know you don't like my outfit or whatever, but I… I want you to be happy."

Quinn's stern face melted at Rachel's pout, and she cupped the brunette's face tenderly. "I love it, really, Rachel. I'm just sad that my hot girlfriend doesn't want to show her sexiness at the party, but I guess this way I don't have to use my radish to fend off handsy people, right?"

Rachel smiled, peering up at the blonde through her lashes. "Really?"

Quinn leaned in, planting a chaste kiss on her girlfriend's lips, lingering a little before pulling back. "Really. Now let's go to that party."
