HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Joe was the first to wake. The sun shone through the large open glass window, and Joe sat up in bed. He rubbed the sleet from his eyes and looked around. his eyes immediatley fell on to her. He watched as her chest moved up and down wiht each breath she took. He watched her eyes, even though they were shut, they were still so beautiful. She was beautiful even sleep. He leaned down and kissed her forehead. She didnt move an inch, so Joe climbed out of bed very carefully, so he wouldnt wake her, or move her around to much. When he did this successfully, he made hisside of the bed and got dressed. When he was all done getting up, he checked on her again, to see if she was awake yet. Nope, still asleep. There was a vase on the table, filled wiht roses, and Joe picked one out and placed it on her chest. The best way to wake up he thought. Joe wandered around the room thinking. He was thinking of a surprise he could do for her birthday. It would have to be something wonderful. The he got a great idea. He was just about to go downstairs to set up the plans when she woke up. She sat up, and she smelled the rose. The her gaze shifted from the rose that lay on her bed, to the deep satin blue eyes of her husband. She smiled, and of course, he smiled back. He shut the door and walked over to her side of the bed. He sat down beside her, and leaned in for a kiss.

" umm..good morning birthday girl."

"Godd morning, thank you for the rose." she said giving him another kiss. Joe moved the hair out of her eyes, and brushed the back of his hand across her cheek. They both smiled and she aknowledged the rose in hre hand again. She smelled it again and placed it in between his hands, and hers, so that now, they were both holding on to it, and each other. Joe leaned in and kissed her, then whispered in her ear " happy birthday." and that was that. Tha was how she woke up on her birthday. No people were involved, no fancy music, or clothes, or words. Just him, her, the love they shared...and the rose.

CHAPTER 2.
The day pretty much started the way it always does. Mia and Nicholas were in Paris, and Clarisse was in her study room doing whatever paper work she just happened to have laying on her desk. Then there was Joe. Good ole Joe, running around the palace trying to find Charolette. When he did, he told her of his plans
